"I thought you'd like confess you have feelings for me or something." I say and instantly regret it. There's a silence for a bit.
"What, nooo!" Daniel says and chuckles.
I get out of the shower and wipe the fog off the mirror. I open the little window and watch the fog slowly fade away. My clothes are laying on the counter and I walk over to them and start putting them on. I towel dry my hair and then throw my dirty clothes into the washing basket.

As I'm about to get out of the bathroom the door handle twist. I hear a muffled "sorry" from outside the bathroom door and I chuckle to myself. I unlock the bathroom door and see Daniel standing there smiling. "Deja Vu." I say and he chuckles. I smile at him and pull my hair back behind my ears. He enters the bathroom and I walk toward the stairs. I chuckle to myself while I walk down them.
"We're so happy you finally confessed your love for each other." Jack says and smiles at me. The others are also smiling at me. I giggle and sit down in the sofa next to Jonah. He looks at me smiling widely. I look up at him and furrow my eyebrows. "I'm so happy you both realized you were perfect for each other." He says making me blush. I smile uncontrollably and look down at my hands. Daniel comes running down from the stairs holding my phone.
"You got a message from Hunter, heart emoji, heart eye emoji." Daniel says with a grin. I stand up and walk over to him. He lifts his hand up so I can't reach the phone. I pull his arm down and he switches hand and puts the phone in his other hand. "Daniel James Seavey! Let me text my brother!" I say and stand in front of him angrily. He smiles at me and hands me the phone. I still look at him angrily and turn around and walk away from him. I throw myself down onto the sofa again and Daniel sit down next to me.
"Hey, I heard what happened. Was it really Aaron?" Hunter asks me. I sigh and start to write my response. "Yeah it was Aaron, he gave me money back for all the things and turned himself in, so it's all good I guess." I send. I put my phone down and look to my side where Daniel's sitting. My head rests on his shoulder and I look at what he's doing on his phone. He's watching one of those satisfying sand videos on Instagram. As it ends a pic of a girl pops up, I see that he liked it and commented "😍😍". It's probably just an old pic.
As he tries to scroll away from it before I saw it I see the little text underneath the post, "22 minutes ago". I swallow the lump in my throat and sit up, removing my head from his shoulder. I decide not to make such a big deal out of it and just jump a little bit away from Daniel on the sofa. My phone buzz and I look at it. Just a notification from some Instagram.
I open Instagram and see a message from some random guy. "Hey, you're pretty. Are u single." He asks me. Daniel looks at my phone and sighs. I ignore it and write back to him. "Well I'm not single and not taken, I don't know really. The guy who just confessed his love to me likes and comments stuff on other hot girls photos so I don't know, you tell me." I send. I hear Daniel starting to speak but I get up from the sofa and walk away. My eyes meet Daniels and he sits there speechless, like a lost puppy. I fake a smile to him and walk outside and sit down on the grass.
I hear the door slide open and out comes Zach. "Hey bro." I say and turn my head towards him. He smiles at me and sit down next to me. "What's up?" He asks me. I pluck a little flower from the ground and look at it. "Stars." I say and he chuckles. "You know what I mean." He says and I look at him and laugh. He shakes his head and looks at me with a serious face. "Nothing, I'm just overreacting!" I say and drop the flower. He places his hand on my back and rubs it a little. I smile at him and hug him.
Daniel comes outside and walks over to Zach. "Hey bro, I need the car keys." He says and holds his hand out in front of Zach. I contain myself from looking at Daniel at all, until he speaks up. "Presley you're coming with me." He says and I look up at him. I furrow my eyebrows and start to get off the ground. Zach looks at me confused and I shrug. "Where are we going?" I ask him. He quickly licks his lips and starts to tap his foot. "The pharmacy." He says and I raise my eyebrows. "Okay?" I say and follow him inside. We walk past the others and Daniel stops next to Jonah and they whisper something. Daniel nods and we continue walking out.
"What are we buying?" I ask him. Daniel looks at me like he's holding his laughter in. I smile at him and shake my head. "Did I Tell you that you're gorgeous when you smile?" He asks me and my mouth drops. "Daniel James Seavey you didn't just change subject on me!" I say and get into the passenger seat. He just laughs at me and get into the drivers seat.
We drive all the way to the pharmacy and get out of the car. I walk up in front of the door and Daniel grabs my hand. I look down at it and then up at his face. A smile grows on mine and he smiles back to me. We enter the pharmacy and walk over to one of the isles. I didn't really look at what he was looking at until he dropped something from the shelf. I crouch down to get it and I see that it's a package of condoms. My mouth drops and I stand up again. I examine the package and curl my lips from the awkwardness. I look up at Daniel who's looking around at different sizes and shapes.
"Daniel?" I ask him and he looks at me. I raise an eyebrow at him and hint to the condoms. He gasps and starts laughing. "It's not for me!" He says laughing and I breathe out in relief. "But I should probably get some for myself.." he says almost whispering and I gasp while laughing at him. I slap his arm and put the package back. "In your dreams!" I say and walk away from him. He picks out a package and walks over to the counter. I grab a pair of razors from the shelf and put them in the counter with the condoms. The girl working there looks at the stuff and then up at us. She's holding her laughter in.
"Oh my god it's not for us!" I say and Daniel starts laughing quietly. She looks at me and nods slowly. "Taking her on a date?" She asks Daniel and he looks up laughing. I shake my head and walk out of the store. Daniel catches up to me still laughing. "It's not funny." I say holding my laughter in. I get into the car and Daniel kiss my cheek. "A little funny was it." He says and I burst out laughing.
