Words may sting
But it's the silence
That breaks the heart----

"WAKE UP, YOU LITTLE BITCH!!! YOU'RE GOING TO SCHOOL!!!" my so-called mother shouted from downstairs.
"NOW WAY IN BLOODY HELL I'M GOING TO SCHOOL!!!" I shouted back. That bitch really likes to jump on my nerves.
"Well you don't have a choice; you're going to school. I don't want you here." she now stood in the entrance of my room with despise in her eyes.
"What do I gain for going to school? I won't go there." I said and sat up in my bed, crossing my arms over my chest.
"You gain nothing but I get some privacy, you stupid whore." her quick steps approached and the sting on my cheek wasn't anything new.
I slowly crawled out of my warm bed and rubbed my cheek as I walked over to the bathroom. Bed perhaps is a strong word, rather a mattress on the floor and surrounding it is not really any furniture besides one small wardrobe. I stripped out of my Pajamas revealing my big angel-wings tattoo on my back. I stepped into the shower and let cold water run down my body, only she can have the warm water. I washed my hair and my body, when I was done I stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around my body. I walked up to my closet and chose a black long-sleeved shirt and made sure to tuck it in a pair of black jeans, no one can see anything. I finished it off with a pair of black Nike before I made my make-up some simple eyeliner, mascara, and some foundation to cover up this morning's slap's redness and handprint. Lastly, some gloss for my lips and left my long black hair down.
"Get the fuck down here!!!" mom shouted from downstairs.
"Coming, Miss." I sighed and slowly walked downstairs with my phone and my beloved headphones.
"Get the fuck out now." she said as she did breakfast to herself.
"With pleasure." I said and slammed the front door after me, she'll probably teach me a lesson for that tonight.
I jumped in my black Mustang and drove away to the closest Walmart. When I got to Walmart, I went in bought a cola and a Snickers. When I walked back to my car I saw a few guys admiring my car. A mix of feeling stirred up, both panic and pride. I unlocked the car with my remote and all of the guy's eyes snapped towards me.
"What could a little girl like you need such a pretty car for?" one of them snickered.
"I know my car is pretty, otherwise I wouldn't have brought it. Besides I'm not a little girl" and so it begins again...
"Could we maybe get a test drive?" they began walking towards me and my car.
"Hmph, not likely"
And with that I opened the door to my car, started the engine, and drove away, leaving them behind me. Creeps.
I parked in my new school's parking lot, got out of my car, and locked it. On my way into the school, I ate my Snickers and opened my cola, took a sip of it before putting the cap on again. I opened the doors to the school and casually walked down the corridor. The last place I'm going to is the principal's office, no way in hell I'm going there on my own. I leaned against some lockers and opened Instagram.
"Hey, you, get away from my locker." a guy said.
I didn't even bother to look up.
"HEY, do you hear me? Get away from my locker." he said angrier this time.
