Chapter 30

Valeska's p.o.v

I woke up to Cayden’s annoying alarm.

“Turn it off, babe” I groaned and snuggled into him.

Cayden fumbled with his phone and at last he turned the darn thing off.
He yawned and rubbed my back.

“Morning, Princess” his voice was still in that sexy morning state.

“Morning, Prince” I propped me up on my arms and smiled down at him.

He smiled and gave me a morning kiss. Right now is everything perfect.
We got up and got dressed and I had the luck of snatching one of Cayden’s hoodies. He saw me and chuckled as he shook his head. I put my hair in a messy bun on the top of my head.

“Tiered today?” I nodded and headed downstairs and Cayden followed me.

We made a simple breakfast before we went outside to his car. We drove off to school and when we walked towards the school entrance came Simon running. When he reached me he hugged me.

“I’m sorry, Valeska, I didn’t mean to upset you, I don’t know what got into me. I was so worried when you left and I knew you left because of me, please, please forgive me” I though he was about to cry but I hugged him back.

“It’s fine, Simon, I’m fine, we’re fine” I reassured him.

He didn’t say anything he just gave me one last squeeze before he let go of me.

“Thank you” he smiled at me.

We all three went inside where I hugged the other guys and apologized for yesterday but everyone was cool with it.

The day went on and we went to nearly all of our classes, except math, we have a limit somewhere and there was it. At lunch Cayden made me sit in his lap but honestly it wasn’t that bad. The day ended and everybody drove home, since everybody was coming tonight at Cayden’s race. I’m so excited that I’m literally bouncing.

“Calm down, babe, it’s just a race” he chuckled.

“But it’s the first race I’ll see you drive”

The race began at 7 so we just relaxed and slept a little before we ate and fixed ourselves.
I put on a pair of black jeans and a tight, marine-blue, t-shirt and my leather jacket. I brushed my hair and put it in a high ponytail and I also added a bit of mascara and a dark wine-red lipstick.

Cayden had a similar outfit to me with a grey t-shirt instead of a blue.
We got in his car and took off the race.

When we arrived the crowd split allowing us to pass through and we parked. We stepped out but before I had gone anywhere Cayden had wrapped his arms around my waist.

“Listen to me baby, you might know this but be careful and don’t leave neither of our sides, okay? If you need to use the toilet, bring someone with you, I don’t want you to disappear. And also if you can choose someone else than Dominic, do it, I don’t fully trust him”

I nodded and he kissed my lips. When he pulled away I saw that he had some lipstick on his lips.

“Hey, don’t steal”

“What?”

“You took my lipstick” I chuckled and wiped it off his lip.

“Dang it, you noticed” he laughed.

The guys came walking over and greeted us.
There was still sometime until the race would begin so we just mingled around and Cayden introduced me to some of his racing-buddies as him girlfriend and my stomach couldn’t help but do a backflip each time he said it.
