Valeska's p.o.v

*Nearly a month after chapter 1*

That Cayden guy has I caught staring at a few times already but it's not in a creepy way, but I still feel kinda creeped out by it.

I sat on a bench outside one of the classrooms, the clock was about 11 am and I still hadn't gone to any classes. I got a text from the only person I didn't want to hear from.

(11:08) Ziko: I'm back, sis.

I gulped and felt how the color was drained from my face. He's back. I wanted to cry. Not from happiness, absolutely not, from frustration. I thought he was gone. Panic rises through my body, I NEED to get it out.

"How are you feeling, Valeska?" I heard someone say.

I looked up from my phone to see Cayden sit crouched down so he looked up at me with his hands on my knees. Okay, play cool, don't let him get to you, don't let him break you.

"None of your business and why would you care?" I said and stood up.

"Hey, wait." he said and took my arm, making me stop.

Sorry Cayden, but now isn't the best time.

"Let me go." I gritted through my teeth.

"Only if you tell me."

"Okay." I said as he let go of my arm.

As if.

When he didn't touch me anymore I sprinted out, running as fast as I could, out of the school. I looked back and saw that he wasn't there. I sighed in relief. A hand was put over my mouth and I panicked. I head-butted his head but he didn't let go! Instead, he hugged me around my waist, his large hands clasped together on my stomach.

"Whoever you are, you are letting me go now." I said as angry as I could, but the panic was still noticeable in my voice.

But if I should be honest, it was kind of nice to be hugged.

"I won't do that and you know that." he said as I realized it was Cayden and I relaxed a little. It wasn't Ziko at least, if it was him he wouldn't have hugged me.

"How many times do I have to say It, let go of me!" I shouted and tried to wiggle out of his hold.

My phone rang and he let go of me, finally. But when I saw who called me I would rather be in Cayden's arms, actually, I'd rather die. I picked up the call and pressed the phone to my ear.

"Эй, сестра. (Hey, sister)"

"Здравствуйте. (Hello, Sir)"

"Я слышал, что в последние недели ты был маленьким негодяем, потому что нас с отцом не было, не значит, что ты в безопасности. Вы должны это знать сейчас. (I heard you have been a little brat these last weeks, just because dad and I were out doesn't mean you're safe. You should know that by now)"
