| Ghost's POV |
When morning came I found myself laying on the sofa instead of my bed. I was awake the entire time he was in control this time but he didn't murder. He was just watching TV... I was beyond confused but I didn't dare ask him why.
I stretched and yawned, still feeling tired. I stared at the ceiling, lost in thought.
'it seems Ghostie has a little crush' his voice teased in my mind. I furrowed my brows, it doesn't hurt anymore when he speaks but hearing his voice is worse than the pain alone.
"Please be quiet Jimmy" I hissed back, thinking of course, not out loud.
I could tell he was probably smirking right now. "I do not have a crush on someone. I can't wait until she leaves this place and never see her again."
'is that permission to ki-'
"No. You're not allowed to kill her" I cut him off before he could finish. I might not be fond of her, doesn't mean he gets to kill her.
It was weird. It seemed as if I was already comfortable with the fact I am being possessed by a murderer. It was like I already knew and have become adjusted to it.
Foot steps came from the stairs. They were light, so I assumed it was Melissa.
My assumption was correct. Melissa walked in with messy hair and honestly a mess in general. I silently watched her walk into the kitchen, practically scanning her from top to bottom. I felt heat rise on my cheeks.
'Checking her out huh...how adorable Ghosty!' Jimmy cooed.
I growled "Shut the fuck up Jim". Melissa walked into the living room, a glass of juice in her hand. She looked down at me sleepily.
"Did you just growl?" She asked, tilting her head slightly. I blinked at her, not processing the fact she just spoke to me. She waved her hand in front of my face. I shook my head, snapping out of whatever it was I was doing. Thanks for distracting me Jimmy.
"Huh?" She narrowed her eyes at me. My response was clearly not what she had wanted.
"I asked you if you growled" She bluntly repeated.
"Oh right...yeah.."
"Why?" She crossed her arms, probably judging me.
"Jimmy"
"Who?" She was puzzled by the name. Right. Was she not told?
"Jimmy. The murderer"
"Right...What about him.." She looked at me with slight concern.
"He's in my head"
"I'm sorry what?"
Melissa looked beyond confused. I was trying to make this simple but it seemed as if I had only just made it more confusing. I let out a deep sigh.
"I will explain in more depth later, maybe then you will understand. But for now, you need to wake up a bit more" I stretched before sitting up slowly, allowing Melissa to sit on the sofa. It was silent between, but for once it wasn't awkward. I grabbed the remote and switched on the television so that it wasn't completely silent.
