Valerie's POV

"Our wedding day was amazing. We had all our family and friends together and it was our dream day. Our honeymoon was in Australia. It's your grandpa's favourite country."

"What happened after granny? When did you have mummy and uncle Jason?" Charlotte asked. I chuckled and slowly re-adjusted myself on the sofa. 

Just then Harry walked in and continued the story. "It was just after our honeymoon, granny told me she was having a baby, your mum that is. Nine months later, she had your mum, Darcy. Then uncle Jason came along. We were a very happy family, and now that you and your brother are here, our lives are all the better." He finished.

"Tell us the story again granny!" Chris demanded. I chuckled. "Maybe tomorrow, little one. Granny's tired now." And I was, I needed a nap. All these years have worn me out, but they were worth it. Every single minute of them was amazing, even when they weren't happy moments. Harry took my hand and led me to our bedroom. I lay down on the bed, careful not to hurt myself. Harry followed. "I can't believe how the years have gone by..." He said disbelievingly. I nodded. "They have gone very quickly. But they were so worth it..." I replied. He took my hand in his soft one, and I pecked him lightly on the lips. "I love you." I said. "I love you too Val." He replied. It's as though we never grew up.
