I wake up in a room surrounded by the female soldiers. Immediately I'm bombarded with hatred and anger.

"YOU ALWAYS RUIN EVERYTHING FOR THE REST OF US!" One of them shouts.

"Why can't you do something right for once." Another mutters.

"You're so stupid! Some of us were enjoying ourselves!" Again and again they shout and scream and shove me off the medical bed. Finally they leave me there, curled in the floor. My hands were scratched, my nose bleeding, my body aching. All I can do is curl up tighter and cry.

"God why am I so useless.. I beg of you to just take my useless life away.." I beg to whatever god there is to listen.

"Hannah..?" The familiar voice of Mikasa Ackerman reaches me. I shut up. I don't want her to know I'm here. I don't want her to see me. I don't want anyone to know what's going on.

"I don't think she's in the room Mikasa.." Eren murmurs leading her away.

"Yeah.. I guess you're right.." she responds and I listen as hey walk away down the hall. I wish they would have just found me. But they shouldn't worry anyway.. it's my problem. Not theirs. I can deal with it alone.

I sit there quietly, watching tears and blood drip off my face into a pool on the floor. I watch bruises form on my arms. I embrace the pain that I feel and lay there as the sun rises hours later.

"Cadet Klein? We need to depart now," the authoritative voice of Erwin causes me to stand slowly, turn, and salute. Forgetting the dried blood and teas on my face.

"By the walls, what happened to you?" He asks, a shocked tone in his voice now. I don't reply, I salute again and go to the bathroom to get my uniform on. I look in the mirror and clean off my face, watching the blood run into the sink.

Afterwards I take my place in the formation next to Levi. I feel the scowls of the other cadets as we ride through the streets. I pull up my hood, hiding my tired eyes as Levi turns to look at his squad. He doesn't need to know about this either.

"ADVANCE!" At he sound of Erwin's voice our horses bolt forward, once out of the walls we split into our long range formation.

"So Hannah, what do you think since it's you're first time out of the walls?" Eld asks.

"It's great.." I mutter, keeping my eyes on the grass ahead of me. My hood blocked the rest.

"She's not even looking," Oluo scoffs in his attempt to be like Levi. I notice Levi himself slowing down, he pulls down my hood I'm forced to look up at the sky.

"Take position next to me," he orders, and I do as I'm told. "Look around you. There's no walls. You're free Hannah."

"Even out here I'm still trapped sir."

"I know.. that's why I'm going to make sure you're free one day. Right now I just want you to be free from your pain," He whispers so none of the squad behind us can hear.

"I'm not in pain. I'm fine." I reply monotonously.

He sighs and reaches for my hand before we see black flares. We realize something isn't right when a cadet approaches from the right flank.

"The entire right flank has been wiped out!" He shouts.

"Petra, relay the message to the commander," Levi orders, serious once more.

"Yes sir!" She replies speeding away.

"I can take care of the abnormal-," I start saying.

"No. If the entire right flank couldn't take it out, neither can you." He states flatly.

"But sir-,"

"No! It would be a pointless death! We need you alive!" He shouts, but then corrects himself, "I need you alive.."
