Broken Wings

Chapter fourteen

I woke up that morning from my dreams of Levi. Why was he all i could think of? Why does he care about me? The messed up in the head cadet that can't do much of anything right? Why? Was he trying to hurt commander? I don't understand..

I got dressed and went down for training, I didn't feel i could eat. I waved to mikasa who was already training with Eren and Armin. Everyone had partners, so I guess I can just sit and watch.

"Hannah," I turned to the voice of Levi. I wanted to run to him and be happy again, but i could not. "You will be training with me today."

"Yes sir," i said walking over to an open space.

"Ready..?" He asked, i nodded and he rushed forward, I jumped over him trying to knock him off balance. He caught my foot and pulled me backwards into him. He grabbed me around the midsection causing me to squeak.

"Eep!" I squeaked. He laughed but continued to hold me off the ground.

"Did you squeak cadet?" He asked.

"N-no! Put me down!" I said, squirming around trying to get lose.

"Ahh.. d-Don't.." he begged.

"Why? Does it make you uncomfortable captain?" I joked, still trying to get free.

"Tch, brat," he said, still sounding weak. He threw me over his shoulder and carried me back towards the others.

"H-hey! Put me down! Captain Levi!! Let go!" I yelled, hitting his back.

"Tch, not a chance," he scoffed. All of a sudden he fell backwards. He pulled me to the front of him so I couldn't get hurt.

"I would say that is mot appropriate behavior with a cadet Levi, would you not?" Erwin said, scowling down at him.

"Training Erwin, is a fine time to throw a cadet over your shoulder, or to pin then to the ground or wall," Levi replied.

"Then you wont mind if i steal hannah for some training?" Erwin said, lifting me off the ground and dragging me further away.

"Let me go.." I murmured afraid.

"Okay," he said pulling me in front of him. I tripped falling to the ground. Erwin swopped down on me pinning me to the ground between his legs.

"N-no! I don't want this! Stop!"  I yelled, trying to get help. He placed his hands on my shoulders, it hurt so much that i had to scream.

"ERWIN!" Levi yelled, his grey eyes glittering with rage. He threw Erwin off me, pulling me up behind him. "THATS ENOUGH! SHE DOESN'T LIKE IT CANT YOU SEE?!"

"Careful levi.. or you might end up in the most dangerous position next expedition.." Erwin laughed, getting up and walking away.

Levi turned to me, "are you okay? Did he hurt you? I swear if he did anything-"

"Im okay.. I just need to take a minute to calm down.." i whispered. He picked me up and took me to his office.

"You are staying with me from now on" he said, kissing me gently for much longer than we did before. It was nice, but i was still afraid.
