Thena's POV

I head home right after I got a call from my dad. He said he'll be having a conversation with me at the mansion.

Before I enter the house, my phone vibrated. It was a message from Renz.

Bish: How's my tin-tin? I haven't talked to you for a long time.

I scoffed, remembering the last time I talked to him. Which was last night.

Thena: Don't call me that, I'm ok. And don't be dramatic, I talked to you last night😂😂

Bish: Oh😅

The door creaked open so I hid my phone. I stood up straight when it was my father.

"Oh hey, how long have you been standing there?" He asked.

"I just came, actually." I sheepishly scratched the back of my head and went inside. "So what do you want to talk about?"

"Well," He cleared his throat, and I just sat there, waiting for his reply. "While I was taking a business trip in
America, I saw my old friend there.

His life there wasn't going well. In fact, he was dying. He gave me a favor to help his son. I owe him a lot, so I accepted it. He'll be your new personal butler."

"But how about Yoora?" I pout, I've lived my entire life with her as the person beside me all the time.

"We've talked about this, Thena. She can't take care both you and her children." I sighed as a response.

"I have to go. I still have to meet Mr. Lee." He excused himself, "I think he'll be a good guy anyway."

I'm gonna be honest with you, I am usually rude to my past butlers.

Call me choosy, but I prefer maids. They're cuter.

The next day, I heard a knock from the door. I lazily opened it for the person, revealing a tall man.

I scanned his features. He has hair as black as ash, eyes blue like the sky, and skin slightly tanned.

He's already wearing the butler uniform when he arrived.

"Oh, hey." I sighed, stepping aside to welcome him.

Dad never told me he'll start his job today.

I lead him to one of the guest rooms, "Can I even fit here." He mumbled in english.

"Well it's either that or you'll sleep on the lawn." I crossed my arms, looking at him again. His features are really something.

"And didn't my father tell you to not complain?"

"Nope."

"Well, don't. You're taking orders from me now since I'm in charge."

"In charge of this house? I don't think so. I never seen a 5 year old takes hold of the residence."

Excuse me?

"I am 13, for your info."

"But you're as small as a mushroom."

I ignored his mock of my height, "Anyways, my friends will come here soon. When they come prepare some tea."

"You have friends?" He asked.

This guy is pissing me off. His unique features are a waste then.

I grew bored after a few more arguements with him.

Atleast I get to know his name while quarreling with that crap. I said my last words before leaving him.

Sky (I don't really care about his surname)

"Just prepare us tea and do butler duties okay." I said and head to my room.

For unknown reasons, JaeMin, Ash and Cameron wanted to go here. I made sure the house was clean and Sky not making trouble.

I heard knocks from the entrance. They should fix the doorbell soon. I opened the door revealing the expected visitors.

We went to the living room and Sky served us 4 cups of tea. None of us minded his presence, since we're busy with our phones. Well, except for one.

JaeMin.

She stared at Sky longer than I expected her to, and that made me suspicious.

I finally knew the reason why they were here, which is because of the aircon and the wifi. These people, I swear.

We watched television, play board games and ate stuff. And everytime Sky passes by it will keep JaeMin distracted.

The last thing we did was play Truth or Dare.

I spun the bottle and landed on JaeMin.

She doesn't really want to move her body so I'm assuming her to pick truth.

"Truth." She sighed. I already prepared a question for her.

"Why do you keep on glancing at my butler?" I grinned, the others saying an 'ooh's. I made sure Sky won't be hearing this.

She growled and muttered, "I'm just checking who passes by, okay?"

"Lie." Ash said. Ash doesn't lie though. So we confirmed that JaeMin was lying.

The penalty will be a dare and the question will be asked again.

It's great to have Ash as the judge.

But before she could answer again, Cameron's phone started to ring. He answered it.

"CAMERON KIRIGAYAMA, CAN'T YOU SEE THE TIME?" The person on the other end of the line, we assume as his mom, kept ranting.

Cameron can't do anything other than repeatedly mutter "sorry".

When she hung up, we burst out laughing at his flushed face.

"Well guys, I have to go. Thanks for the food." He bowed and Sky escorted him outside.

There goes JaeMin's weird gaze.

We continued the Truth or Dare after Cameron left.

The bottle stopped, the tip stopping against me.

If JaeMin is the type of person to pick truth, I'm the opposite of that. I love doing dares unless it doesn't count talking to strangers.

"I dare you..." Ash cupped her chin, pausing for a moment. "To give JaeMin your tanned butler's number."

"With pleasure." I giggled, snatching JaeMin's phone. I clicked the numbers slowly, unsure if I'm inputting the right one.

I gave it to her with a smirk, "You're welcome."

Hours passed, and they decided to call it a day. I waved them goodbyes, and sighed. I had a fun day.

"Don't you have other maids here?" His voice echoes from the kitchen, "I don't think I can't clean all the mess you made."

"Nah, you're alone." I yelled. "And I gave my friend your phone number if you don't mind. She has hots for you I guess."

I can hear his whine from the other side as I rolled my eyes. This is my first time encountering a unique butler. We all know no butler will complain.

I took a one last look at his bio data on my table. Whoa he's only 14? Not only he's weird, he's young.

Thena, just. Just stop.
