Star's POV

"Noona, you're dying."

"No I'm not!" I yelled, shooting until I ran out of ammo.

Guns being useless to me, I threw them away and grabbed my knife I equipped a while ago. After a few sneaky walks, my brother spotted me and ended my life.

"That's no fair!" I whined and threw the gaming console away as my brother bursted out laughing.

"Look at your survival time," A tear literally came out from his eyes while rolling on the carpeted floor. "45 seconds. 45 seconds!"

"Whatever." I sighed and stood up to get something to eat.

After the visit at JaeMin's house I studied twice harder than last time. My energy also drained twice faster causing my organs to temporarily shut down.

My brother advised me to chill a bit after all the sleepless nights and my brain cells being killed.

I took his suggestion and tried to play video games with him but it didn't help. I decided to take a long cold bath instead.

I waited for the bathtub to be filled with cold water before taking off my clothes and step in.

The heat and sweat I got in the afternoon was swept away when I felt the water touch my skin. I faced the bathroom ceiling and sighed.

A sudden realization hit me. I wouldn't be seeing my friends again after I get admitted in Seoul. I focused too much in studying I forgot to spend my time left with the squad.

After a while I finally got off the tub and changed to casual clothes and noted my brother that I'll be going out.

I called the random contact and instantly regret when I heared their voice.

"Hello?"

I froze and began to internally scream.

Out off all numbers, why this twerp?

"Hello, Star?" He asked again, my mouth still shut. I muster up the courage to answer back.

"Cameron, hi."

"Uh, hey. Is anything wrong?" He asked, a hint of awkwardness in his voice causing me to feel the same.

Before I could answer, my phone was snatched by a person I didn't know that was there awhile ago. I tilted my head in confusion at the situation.

Who the heck is he and why didn't he just run like what other snatchers do?

"Yeah, Star was thinking if she could hang out with you."

Cameron and Crimson talked a bit, and I stood there even after he ended the call. He turned her head, with a lopsided grin on his face.

"You bastard!" I punched him in the head wishing it'll leave a mark.

Crimson cussed and rubbed his head in hopes of the pain stop.

"You gave me a heart attack! You came out of nowhere and snatched my phone away from me—" I kept ranting when he covered my mouth.

"Yeah yeah, atleast you'll have a date with Cameron today, okay?" He examined me from head to toe before speaking up again,

"You look nice. Now head to the playground, before he grows bored and cancel your date."

"What did you even do that for?" I sighed, getting my phone from him. "He's the least person I want to see today. And where the actual heck did you come from?!"
