Mickey's POV

Locking the door to my apartment, I made my way to the school.

I still have to pass some papers to different teachers, to fill up the blank boxes in my grades.

As I took the first step inside the campus, I felt like it was the first day of the school year.

I went to the faculty room, expecting teachers will be there, grading various students.

I peeped inside the room and noticed another student inside.

The student had a tall figure, familiar coal hair, with blue jacket I used to see everyday.

Surprised, I changed my direction.

It's kinda awkward to see the person who you recently broke up with, so the only thing you gotta do is to hide from them.

And so I did.

I saw him roaming around the campus, probably looking for teachers that aren't in the faculty room.

I did my best to hide in every corner, or disguise myself as a random person just to be unnoticed.

He finally left the school, and I am now free to look for the teachers I need to meet.

I gave all my requirements to my senseis, and called it a day.

I went to the rooftop to rest. I feet hurts after walking at a wide place.

The sun slowly falls, giving me a view like the scenery I see from the anime I watched.

It's so beautiful.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" I flinched from the sudden voice I heard from behind.

Please don't be Ivan, please don't be Ivan.

I slowly turned my head to contemplate the person, and to my relief, it was only Pidro.

"Idiot." I playfully punched his chest, "You startled me."

"Oh, sorry."

"What brings you here?" I asked, leaning against the railing and continued to admire the view.

"Just passed my project to Sir Kang." He muttered, standing beside me and doing the same.

I muttered an 'oh', finishing our conversation.

The gentle breeze passed through the rooftop, letting my hair lightly flow.

"How are you two doing?" He asked, and my heart beated faster than usual.

"I saw him earlier."

"And?"

"And I hid whenever he's there."

He chuckled, "It's awkward huh?"

"Yup." I sighed, and thought of something to continue the conversation.

"You felt that before?"

He took a deep breath before answering. "Yeah."

"Really?" I said in surprise. "To whom actually?"

"You know the tall girl from class 6-C?" He asked, and I shook my head.

"Her name's Ami,"

"So what happened?" I asked, starting to get interested.

"Well, I actually liked her. And she did too. She confessed to me, and accepted her like those cliche stuff.

It was a good relationship actually. We rarely get into an argument, but if we do, we fix it immediately. Then suddenly..." He paused.

"Suddenly...?" I turned to look at him, and noticed his face is full of disappointment.

He didn't speak, which I understood. "Nah, don't tell me if you can't. It's okay."

"Thanks."

I checked the time, and noticed the sky is already covered with stars.

"We should get going. It's already dark."

He nodded and we walked outside the school together. We parted ways in a specific street.

"Sayonara, Pidro."

"Adios."

I reached my apartment, and used my keys to open the door.

"Oh, I thought you forgot to bring the keys." Ayumi snickered, and I rolled my eyes.

I plopped on the sofa, sitting beside her. We watched TV, when my phone vibrated for a second.

I saw a message from the person I tried to avoid today.

Senpai: You're hiding from me, are you

Yikes, straight to the point.

I ignored his message, and continued to watch with Ayumi.

I was born in Osaka, and transferred to Tokyo for the scholarship.

Ayumi Maki became my roomate ever since I was new, and considered her as my sister.

I usually hang out with her, and the only person I completely rely on.

Other than my squad in the school, I also have a squad in the apartment neighborhood.

It includes people at my age, and even younger.

I went out with them in different places and they made me feel like in a family.

We heard the doorbell rang and I peeked at the peep hole to see the visitor.

I immediately let them in when I saw Gab and Julie, the siblings who lives next door.

They went straight to the living room, as if they're the ones living here.

"Wow, no greetings?" I asked and sat on my usual spot in the sofa.

They just hummed in response and I sighed.

These kids, I swear.
