Highschool AU

I sighed as I pushed the double doors open to my highschool. Don't get me wrong, I love highschool. Spending time with my friends and living my life is all really fun. But with college around the corner and exams, it's been freaking me out. Senior year is a hassle.
And it's only the second week.

I waltzed into homeroom, setting my backpack down beside my seat. Everyone was chattering excitedly. I tapped my friend Alfred on the shoulder.
" What is UP my dudette! Did you hear the news?"
"That's exactly what I wanted to talk to you about! Why is everyone so excited?"
"Do you remember Heracles from elementary school??" Alfred put his hand on my shoulder.
I pushed it off and said, "Of course! We were neighbors."
"Well he's back from Greece! He's going to be here next week!"

I smiled really widely. I couldn't believe this, my elementary school best friend, back for Senior year! This is gonna be great... I'll just have to push aside the fact that I used to have a small crush on him.. or huge.. whatever. Nothing could ruin my mood.

And nothing did ruin my mood. For the entire week, I was unusually happy. I couldn't wait to see Heracles again.

Saturday morning I was awoken by the sound of a large bang. I jolted up. The apocalypse was coming! I'm gonna die! AAAA- wait- it's just a moving truck... wait- moving truck- does that mean!! Yes!! Heracles is moving into his old house!! This is gonna be awesome!!

I pulled on some shorts that are presentable for the outdoors and ran past the kitchen and into the yard. I walked up to the moving van and saw Heracles's mom. She saw me and squealed. She use to babysit me when I was younger, that's how Heracles and I originally met. That was all so long ago...

"Y/n! I can't believe that's you! You've gotten so pretty and grown... Heracles is taking a nap right now... he never got out of that. He's always tired. But he'll be super happy to see you." His mom smiled widely as did I.
"So do you need help with anything?" I asked. I really missed these guys.
"Yes actually! Zeus (Heracles's dad lol) is at the store getting nails at the moment and Heracles is asleep, so could you help me move some boxes?"
"Of course!"

I helped Hera (the mom) move boxes until around 11:00. We reconnected and shared stories and experiences, it was all really fun.

We just sat down for lunch in the kitchen when Heracles drowsily walked in. And

Like really hot.
Like supermodel hot.
Like I would cut off my left foot to make out with him hot.
Maybe not that far but... you get my point.

"Hey mom did you start- Y/n!" Heracles saw me and smiled.
"Heracles!" I ran and jumped into his arms as he caught me without a problem. We hugged each other tightly. I couldn't believe this was happening.

Hera chuckled and got up.
" I'm gonna take a nap, so can you two finish up the boxes outside?" She said as she got up and walked towards the hallway.

We said yes and got to work, though we goofed around most of the time. He showed me his fourteen (14) cats. They were all so adorable and my heart filled with so much warmth.

After we finished the boxes, we chilled in Heracles's room. We reconnected even more, and it felt like he never even left.

It was about night time and I ate dinner with Heracles's family. I felt so at peace, everything was going so good.

After dinner, Heracles and I headed back to his room. We sat on his bed, looking out of his window at the sky full of stars.
I felt his arm wrap around me, and I leaned my head against his chest.

I am so in love with Heracles.
