The party was already in full swing by the time we arrived. The place was packed filled with drunk or almost drunk teenagers and the music was literally shaking the building.

I turned to Sammy and he's eyes were looking around. "Looking for Winnie?"

"No," he answered, "I'm just checking what I'm am about to put myself into."

My lips crooked in a smile, "You scared party boy?"

He turned to me, then back to the building. "Kind of, that's a full house in there."

"Aww, don't be scared Sammy baby. Daddy me would protect you." I say linking arms with him.

He yanked his hand off. "And don't ever call me or yourself that. Ever."

I burst out laughing and Sammy gets out of the car, leaving me behind. "Wait up."

Together we struggled through the bodies of teens. Sammy ignored the people that were calling out to him, some boys from his team and others girls. I smiled, he's all mine.

"Hi Eli." A girl shouted over the music her arms wrapping her around me and smiling like loon. "I didn't think you'd come."

"Hi...you." I said, not bothering in remembering her name. But I've seen her at school before. "How are you?" I asked for lack of things to say. I was usually good with the girls, but with Sammy standing just a feet away, I was a blabbering mess.

Sammy rolled his eyes and made to leave but my hand reached out to him. "Don't leave me." This girl's frail fingers pressed on my face as she turned my head to her.

"We're gonna have fun Eli, let's dance first." She said pulling my hand.

Sammy scoffed and walked off. I watched him, taking note of the path he's taking. After that I followed the girl, leaving her off with her fellow girls before going after Sammy.

He sensed my presence immediately I entered the kitchen. "Back already?"

"Yeah, you can't get rid of me that easily." I said casually relaxing on the island.

Sammy removed two drinks from the fridge, closing it and giving me a crooked smile. "Unfortunately."

I smiled back, watching him mix the two drinks together in two cups. He mixed them expertly and handed me a cup. "A bit strong but... cheers."

I chuckled watching him hiss as he gulped down half the content of his cup. "Someone has to stay sober, we aren't gonna fly home."

"I can hold my liquor. You?"

"The opposite," I answered with a shake of my head, raising the cup up, "this, this would turn me into a staggering mess."

He chuckled beautifully. "I'd love to see that."

I dropped the cup down, "not today you won't."

He pouted, "kill joy."

I barely heard him. My eyes were trained on his face and my heart was going crazy. What the hell is actually wrong with me? Sammy looked away, gulping down the remaining half of his cup.

"I wonder how many things we're still opposite at." He asked grabbing my cup.

"I know one. You're the good boy, and I'm the bad boy."

He smiled, raising the cup up in acknowledgment "Always."

"Do you still hate pickles?" I asked.
