Black Woods Pack

Chapter One

Wyelyn'sPOV

Here I am looking in the state of Oklahoma for a new town, a new start, away from family and friends. So I find myself looking in the town of Nashoba, but before I get there I stop to get some gas, food and a drink. Walking in to get what I want I see a guy just staring at me, so hurrying up I get a bag of chips and a soda as well as twenty in gas paying and going to pump my gas. Looking around the guy was now gone but I see a truck with some buff guys near the area where he was. I finish getting gas and get in my truck and head into town.

Once I get to Nashoba I begin the search for my new house just outside city limits. A few catch my eye. I end up pulling up to one and walking around it while reading a pamphlet that was displayed outside. Calling up the number on the for rent sign, I sit and wait to get a look inside. As I sit and look at my '83 f100, I get the thought to check everything under the hood after the long drive. I decide to go ahead and check the fluid levels.

Unknown POV

As I sit on the porch of the pack house looking out over the field watching the pups play I get a phone call from an out of state number. Answering the phone, a voice on the other end speaks "Hello this is Weylyn Orton I am calling about the house you have for rent at 1350 Woods street." "Yes it is a 2 bedroom and 1 bathroom, comes with all appliances I am asking $400 a month but only $150 deposit," I say. Weylyn says " that sounds great is there a way I could look inside I'm really interested in renting the house." Yes, I am actually free I can meet you now and can show you inside and around the house." I respond. "Ok, I will be waiting here for you Miss." He tells me. We get off the phone and I walk to the Alphas office to tell him about someone being interested in the house.

Austin's POV

As I sit in my office watching videos on my computer, I hear a knock on my door, "come in." In walks in one of my pack members "I'm sorry to interrupt you Alpha I was wanting to tell you we have a man named Weylyn Orton wanting to move into the house on Woods St.""Hmm thanks Sabrina go check out what he is like and we will see how well he will fit in with the pack or not." I respond. "I will alpha, I will let you know what he is like," Sabrina responds. And with that Sabrina leaves the office and I start thinking to myself about what Weylyn is like it is always a nice when new people move into the pack area. As I am thinking in walks Damien my mate, I turn around and see him " We have a new person wanting to move into our area, his name is Weylyn Orton." I tell Damien, then he says " that's awesome who is going to see him?"Sabrina is on her way to speak with him." I tell him. "She's one of our best at reading people so that's a good choice."He says.

Weylyn'sPOV

After checking my trucks fluid levels I know that it will need some oil once I get back to where I am living at. I look up to see the stranger from the gas station walking to the truck so I shut the hood looking at him. "Hello, is there anything I can help you with sir?" He stops and looks at me "Hello, I am Brett Witcher" he says as he starts to walk over to me. "What do you know about this house?" I ask him. Just after I ask him Sabrina pulls up in her car and gets out. "Mr. Orton?" she asks looking at me. "Yes I am, thank you for coming out" offers my hand to shake hers. "and who might you be?" " I am Sabrina and thank you for the call shall we go in" she answers shaking my hand. " Yes please, sorry if my hands are a little greasy I was doing a little work on my truck as I was waiting" " Before we go, Brett, what are you doing here?" Sabrina asks. " I saw a new person in town just wanted to be nice and introduce myself, "Brett responds. "Nice to meet you Brett was it?" I say looking at him. He nods "Yes it is, and what might your name be cutie?" he asks me. "It's Weylyn, Weylyn Orton," I tell him. " Nice to meet you Weylyn, hope to see you around,"Brett says with a wink as he walks down the sidewalk.

After Brett leaves Sabrina shows me the inside of the house " this place looks great, wheres the master bedroom?" I ask her. "well we are in the living room right now, the master bedroom is down the hall to the left of us on the last door on the left the guest bedroom is the first door on the right, the kitchen is there through the door to the front of us." Sabrina says as she points to each room. I walk into the kitchen as she follows behind, I open the door and notice the kitchen has a nice stove, refrigerator, dishwasher and even has some dining room furniture. I ask Sabrina "Is the house just electricity or does have gas as well?" "It's all electric so the stove has electric burners and it uses an electric water heater as well," she says and she also asks "If I may where are you from Mr. Orton?" " Oh well I'm from Alma it's in Arkansas, I'm just wanting to start life on my own, I'm only 22 but its just time to get away from family," I tell her. Sabrina tells me " I can understand that I'm from a small town in Texas myself." I walk out of the kitchen back to the living room then go down the hall to the bedrooms. When I reach the master bedroom I start looking around. Smiles knowing my stuff would fit just fine in the room " Sabrina, I have the deposit, when can I move in?" I ask her. She says" let me call my boss to make sure the house is ready to go." I say" Okay" and stay in the room smiling looking around the room as she goes outside.

Austin's POV

As I sit in the kitchen eating a sandwich I get a call on my phone. I pick it up and notice it's Sabrina, I answer knowing she is reporting in about Weylyn. " Hello Alpha, Mr. Orton would be a great asset for the town, but he's just human, and Brett was flirting with him, he is gay, just looking for a new start." " Hmmm Brett well that's interesting, but if he seems okay to you then I trust you let him move in," I tell Sabrina. "Ok, my Alpha I will tell him," Sabrina tells me. She hangs up and I finish eating my sandwich, then get up and go out to the porch of the pack house. When I get outside I look out over the houses of the other pack members, I see some on their porches as well as pups running around.

Sabrina's POV

As I walk back in after getting off the phone with my Alpha I find Mr.Orton in the kitchen. "Great news, you can go ahead and move in." Weylyn says, " Okay that's great I have the deposit and first months rent ready."
