Chapter Two

Weylyn's POV

I get in my truck after taking care of everything for the house so I can head back to Alma to get my things, I notice Brett walking over I roll down my window, "Hello, Brett how are you?" I ask as he gets to the window of my truck. "I'm good so I hear you rented this house. It's a nice house and I live just down the road, maybe after you get settled in I can show you around the town." Brett responds. "That sounds nice and I'd like that," I tell him. "It's a great town lots to do, we have a movie theater and some great restaurants," Brett says with a smile. "Awesome I would love to go sometime," I say with a small smile. "Bye Brett I will see you later" with that I start the drive home to Alma.

Austin's POV

Sitting in my office waiting on Sabrina to return with the paperwork for Mr. Orton, I look over some papers from some of the businesses in town. I hear a knock on my door and tell Sabrina to come in, as she enters my office I smell something sweet knowing it's not her but it would have to be Mr. Orton. "Sabrina, did you visit anyone else after your business with Mr. Orton?" I ask her. " Well, Brett did come back around as Mr. Orton was leaving." She says. As she is telling me this a weird feeling hits me. My wolf starts to pace saying "Mate" through the mind link me and his share, I put the thought away thinking it's crazy cause I have a mate already. Sabrina hands me the paperwork to be filed, "Alpha, you look lost what's going on?" She asks me. "I'm fine just in thought, thank you, Sabrina," I tell her. She nods and leaves the room the strange sweet scent still there my wolf starts to pace more "Find our mate" he tells me through the link

Brett's POV

After meeting Weylyn I find myself falling in love with him, was the goddess giving me a mate? I smile as I remember the sweet scent he has also the date we will have. I decide to head to the pack house so I walk back home to get my car. As I'm driving I just can't get him out of my head, I just keep thinking about our date. I drive to the pack house to ask the alpha about dating Weylyn, to make sure it would be ok. I arrive at the pack house and go to the office of my alpha about to knock. When suddenly the door opens and Alpha Austin walks out, "Hello Alpha I was hoping I could talk to you and ask you something?" I say as I bow to him. "Yes, Brett what is on your mind?" Alpha asks. "Well, I assume you know I met and talked to the new human to town Weylyn," I tell him. "Yes, Brett I know." He tells me. "I was hoping to ask if......well if I could......" I say starting to get nervous knowing a huge risk dating a human can be. "Is everything ok Brett?" Alpha asks. "Yes my alpha everything's fine, I gotta go," I answer as I walk away.

Austin's POV

As I talk to Brett I can feel the anger radiating from my wolf as he talks about Weylyn. I try to keep him calm as I still try to understand the feelings of why he says Weylyn is our mate as well. I decide to see the pack elder about this to see if it's possible for a wolf to have two mates. I walk out of the pack house and to the elders home so I can as him. I get to the elders home and knock on the door. I hear a voice telling me to come in, as I walk in I see the elder in the living room. "Hello Elder, I have a question for you," I tell him. "Yes Alpha Austin, what's bothering you to come to me?" He asks me." Well, we have a new human that is moving to our town, and when I got his paperwork on his house I caught his scent my wolf started to say, mate, is it possible for me to have another mate?" I ask him. The elder responds "It is a rare case for this to happen, but it is not uncommon for it to happen." "So Weylyn Orton is my second mate?" I ask him. "Your wolf says he is your mate, so I say meet him when he comes back, sees if there are the shock and the tingles you felt when you and Luna Damien met." He tells me. I thank the elder for his wisdom and advice, I leave his house thinking of what he said and thinking of how to meet Weylyn.

Weylyn's POV

At home, I decided to get some sleep before loading my truck. I lay in bed thinking about Nashoba and how I'll be on my own and having my own place. My mind wonders towards Brett and how nice and cute he is. I smile and slowly drift off to sleep smiling. As I sleep I dream not of the cute guy Brett but of a peaceful place with a full moon in the sky a beautiful lake that reflects the light given by the moon, I wonder around hearing a soft female voice "It's almost time my son, you will soon be happy beyond what you have known" It says to me. I ask her what does she mean not knowing who she is or where I am "All will be clear soon my son, your mates will be very happy as will you." She says. "What are mates?" I ask confused. "In time you will know my son, in time." She says.
