Chapter Fourteen

Josh's POV

We get ready as night starts to come, we make our way to the Black Woods pack to take the human from the Alpha that stole the life of my mate I will take one of his mates and make him my own. "Is everyone ready?" I ask my beta. "Yes, Alpha everything is ready to avenge your Luna's death." He tells me. "Good, as soon as the moon is up we will attack." I tell him with a slight smirk on my face. "yes alpha, do you want us to kill anyone or are we just taking the human?" he asks me. "Kill if you have to but the human is what we are after he will be protected by his first luna and maybe some pack members, or we can get him when that go for a run during the moon," I say. "Sounds good to me." My beta says baring his teeth.

Austin's POV

As we get done with breakfast I talk with some of the pack members about how things are going in the town, as we do I see some of the young ones playing with Weylyn. I smile watching this happen cause it means my mate is feeling comfortable with the pack. I finish talking to the members and they bow as I walk over to where Weylyn is, "is everyone having fun?" I ask them laughing. "Yes we are love," Weylyn answers as he gets tackled by one of the kids. I laugh as Damien walks up to me and puts his arm around me, "He's fitting in very well wouldn't you say Austin?" He says to me. "Yes and I'm very happy that he is," I say as we look over to see him getting jumped on by one of the pups, "tonight's the night, and who knows what's gonna happen under the full moon." "True, I hope it's not to rough on him," Damien says. Weylyn gets up and walks to us "they seem to like me," he says. "Yah they have taken a liking to you, I think we may have to fight them for your attention," I say laughing as I hug him. "I don't think that will be much of a problem hun." He says smiling.

James's POV

As me and another wolf walk along the border we smell two rouge scents. "Those scents smell familiar," I say to the other wolf. "What do you mean?" He says. " I'm not sure but I think we need to let Alpha Austin know," I say. "I agree." He tells me. "Alpha there are rogues in the area I think they are from Josh's pack," I tell him through our link. "Get them I want to know why they are here," Austin tell us and we run after the scents "why would they be here alpha?" I ask him. "I don't know but find them we don't need anything happening today or tonight." He tells me. "Yes Alpha," I say to him. "You heard him, find those rogues," I tell the other wolf. We start following the scents of the rogues. We come across a set of paw prints in the mud, we follow them to where a wolf is looking at the luna playing with the pups, I get ready to jump him but another walks up and he takes off, I have the other wolf go after him then I jump onto the wolf that stayed, as i fight with him we tumble out into the open field nearby. I manage to pin him down, "who sent you?" I yell at him. "I'm not telling you." He tells me. I begin to shift while pinning him. I bare my teeth at him, "Alpha I have one of them pinned down just north of the pack house." I tell Alpha through our mind link. "Good hold him I am on my way." He tells me.

Austin's POV

After James tells me he has one of the rogues I have Damien take Weylyn back inside the pack house, then I make my way to his location. As I arrive I see the rogue sitting tied up with James sitting over him, "What are you doing here?" I ask him. "You might as well kill me, I'm not telling you anything." He tells me laughing. "I won't kill you, James take him to the dungeon of the pack house we will talk to him later I have a mate to help with," I tell him. "Yes alpha," James says as he lifts the rogue up. "Then after meeting me in my office, we have to talk about tonight," I tell him. I go to the office where Damien took our mate. "What was that about?" Weylyn asks me.  "The one who took Philip sent scouts into our territory, one got away we are going to integrate the other to see why they were here, the pack house burned down last night," I begin to tell them, "so that means Josh survived, no surprise he'd be after revenge." Just then James walks into the office, "he's still not talking Alpha." He tells me. "We will deal with him later, now we have to focus on tonight it's the full moon after all." "Yes, and the voice kept telling me everything would be clear on the full moon, but won't we be variable than with what we are unclear on for me?" Weylyn asks us.  "Hmm you have a good point Weylyn," Damien says. "Yes we don't know exactly what she means for tonight." I say scratching my head. "Though I am scared I'm also relieved that I have everyone here with me." Weylyn says smiling. "What time is it now Damien?" I ask. "Right now it's about five in the afternoon." He tells me. " Okay for now let's get ready for dinner then have everyone meet on the front lawn, but James have the warriors on guard we never know what may happen tonight." I tell them. "Yes Alpha." James responds as he bows. " "Weylyn, no matter what happens tonight me and Damien will always love you, and the pack will always respect you." I assure him as I grab his hand and pull him into a hug. "Thank you Austin for everything." He says to me as Damien joins the hug. "Thank you both for everything you have done, though I didn't understand at first I'm glad to call you my mates." "And we are glad to call you ours Weylyn." Damien says. The three of us then make our down stairs to the living room, I have Damien go check on dinner in the kitchen. Weylyn and I sit down and on the couch to relax after everything that has happened today. Weylyn leans over and lays his head on my shoulder,as I wrap my arm around him. We watch some of the pups play around, Damien comes into the room and tells us that dinner will be ready soon. "Ok, can you and Weylyn go and have the pack make their way to the dining hall, I will join y'all there." I tell them. "You want me to tell them to come?" Weylyn says. "Yes you are their Luna as well, after all you have the same authority Damien and I have." I say chuckling. "Yah, you haven't stretched your Luna role much." Damien says as he chuckles as well. Weylyn chuckles as well, "well I know we are all hungry so let's go Damien" he says grabbing Damien's hand. I make my way to the dining hall just as the rest of the pack start coming in, I go to my seat and wait for Damien and Weylyn to join me. They walk in and take their places next to me just as the food is served we all sit and enjoy dinner just as the sun begins to set.
