James's POV
As I get to where Phillip was posted looking over Weylyn's house I notice he is missing and that there was a struggle. I shift into my wolf to see if I can get Phillip's scent but all I get is the scent of a rogue. I decide to head back to the pack house to inform Alpha Austin of what I found out. I pull up to the pack house I notice Brett walking out of the door with what looks like his stuff. "Brett what are you doing thought you had to stay here for a month," I say. "I can't do it, I want Weylyn but I guess he wasn't meant to be mine so what's the use." He tells me. "Brett you know we don't choose who we mate, that is up to the goddess," I tell him. "Why them though they already have each other," he begins to gripe," why must the three of them be together," "for that is what the goddess wants, we are no one to mess with what she's put together omega, your alpha is happy you should be too," I say to him. "But I won't be unless I have Weylyn, I can't be here if he's not mine I'm leaving." He yells at me. I try to stop him but knowing it's not possible, I just tell him " you know if you leave you won't be allowed back Omega, and not many packs want a rogue omega." As Brett turns to walk off he says " I know and I don't care." And with that, he walks over to his car and leaves. I thought of chasing after him but I know there are more important things to handle so I head inside.
Austin's POV
After we leave Weylyn in his room, Damien and I head to my office to figure things out about what has happened. When we get to the door we see James standing outside waiting on us. I tell him open the door and we go in. I sit at my desk, as I sit down I ask James if he found Phillip. " I did not find Phillip but where he was posted there was a sign of a struggle and the scent of a rogue." He tells me. "We will send a scout out to find him then," I say. James turns to leave my office as he does he says "I will have the warriors go out and look for him in the morning," James begins to tell me, " there is also one more thing my alpha." "What is it, James?" I ask him. "Brett has left the pack house, I ran into him as I was arriving." He tells me. "He did?" Damien asked. "To be honest I'm not surprised he did, I know how much he wanted Weylyn to be his mate," I say as I sit back in my chair. "Should I send a couple Warriors after him or let him go?" James ask. "Let him go, I don't think this will be the last we hear from him anyway," I tell them. With that, I notice how late it is and decide it is time to get some rest. "As you wish alpha, rest well," James leaves the office. "Brett is going rogue and might pose a threat to Weylyn till after the full moon Austin, might want to have a few extra warriors guarding the pack house," Damien tells me." I understand that and will address it in the morning." I tell him knowing full well the danger our mate is in. Damien and I make our way to our room.
Weylyn's POV
The next morning I wake up after a peaceful nights rest though something in me wants to see Austin and Damien soon, so I get up and leave the room looking for the kitchen. When I get there I don't see Austin and Damien but another pack member making breakfast. "Hello I'm looking for Austin and Damien," I say to him. " Oh, you must be Weylyn." He says, " I'm Zack." " Hello, Zack it's nice to meet you," I say extending my hand. "Nice to meet you as well," he says shaking my hand, "Alpha Austin and Damien are out on the front porch." "Thank you," I tell him as I go out to the porch to find them. I reach the porch and I see Austin and Damien sitting there with some kids who I assume to be pack members kids. Austin is telling them stories and they are really into them. I stop and just look at them, something in me just feels right being with them though I'm still trying to understand everything, I am happy. As I walk over Austin says "good morning Weylyn, how'd you sleep?" I answer "Good, and y'all?" "We slept well," he says. I walk over and sit by Austin as he goes back to the story. I lay my head on Austin's shoulder and just cuddle up to him. I listen to Austin tell these stories to the young ones and I realize how sweet he is and I start to notice what kind of man he is. He's sweet kind understanding but also firm and dominant. We spend the morning like this as if it's normal till breakfast is ready then we all go into the dining room which is huge, but there again the pack is big, at some point today he will introduce me to everyone in the pack as his third mate. Austin and Damien sit down at the head of the table and Austin motions for me to sit next to him. I walk over and sit down just as I do the food is brought out. As the food is being served Austin stands and tells the pack that there will be a pack meeting after breakfast and that it is mandatory and very important, they nod saying yes alpha. I finish my breakfast. "Austin, I need to go home to get some fresh clothes," I say to him. "Okay, we will have the meeting as soon as you get back." He tells me. As we sit eating I look around the table at the various pack members and notice the variety of people that make up the pack. Austin must truly be a great alpha to bring these many people together, I think to myself. I finish my food and tell Austin I'm ready to head home to get my clothes so as he and Damien finish their food the members who brought the food outcome get our plates. So the three of us make our way to Austin's truck so that we can head to my house. As we drive back to the house Austin starts explaining the different roles of the pack such as his role as alpha, the beta, gammas, and omegas. He told me that Zack the one I met this morning is a gamma and that the ones who served us breakfast are omegas which is what Brett was. I ask him who the beta is and he tells me his name is Jacob and that they have been friends since they were young before Austin ever became Alpha. The Beta is usually the one the Alpha trust the most. "Was? What happened?" I ask Austin. "Brett left the pack last night turning rogue because your mine and Damiens mate not his," he tells me. "Really?" I ask "Yes, but for wolves, there's nothing we can do we don't choose our mates they are given to us." Damien tells him. "It must be difficult having to wait," I say to them.
