Chapter Four

Austin's POV

As I walk back to my office I mind link Damien and tell him to meet me there telling him we have an issue with Brett. When I get to there James is already in there, I sit down at my desk and just as I sit Damien walks in."So as we know there is a new human in that's has moved into town, which Brett has taken a liking to." "Yes Alpha we know," James tells me. "Well, Brett has taken up himself to ask him on a date without asking me," I say. "Really, what are you gonna do about this?" Asks Damien. "Since it is the first date and he may just be wanting to be nice to Weylyn we will let them go, but we will be nearby to keep an eye on them," I respond.

Weylyn's POV

I finish getting my things out up in my room and look at the clock noticing it's six, so I decide to go ahead and shower cause Brett is supposed to be picking me up at seven. So I get my clothes together that I'm gonna wear, then head to the bathroom. I turn on the water then get in thinking about this being my first date with a guy. As I am showering a random vision appears in my head, it's the same field and same voice as before." the time is almost here." She says. "The time for what," I asked her. "You will know soon my son." She responds. "Who are you?" I ask her, but suddenly the vision vanishes and I'm back in my shower. As I wash up trying to make sense of what it means of anything or am I going crazy. I get out dry off and start getting ready for my date.

Brett's POV

As I'm sitting in my room I start to get nervous about this date knowing that I broke a rule of the pack by asking Weylyn out without okaying it with Alpha Austin. I really like Weylyn though so I'm gonna take the risk. Looking at the time I get a quick shower and get ready to go on the date. I go out and get in my car then drive down to weylyn's house, when I pull up I get out and walk up to the door. I knock on the door when I hear weylyn's voice saying "I'm coming." He opens the door and I just stare into his eyes thinking he is so cute. "You look really cute Weylyn," I tell him. "Thanks so do you." He says with a small smile as he blushes. He invites me in while he finishes getting ready.

Weylyn's POV

After letting Brett in I finish getting ready for the date. I go to the bathroom and brush my teeth as well as fix my hair. After I finish I walk out and look at him blushing some. "I am ready Brett," I say a little nervously. "You look great." He tells me. "Thanks so what do you have planned for tonight?" I ask him. " I was thinking about taking you to a diner that as some great food." He responds. "Sounds good to me," I say. We walk out to his car. He opens the door for me and I get in as he closes the door and walks to his side.

Jacob's POV

As I sit across from Weylyn's house I watch as Brett and Weylyn get into Brett's car keeping in contact with Alpha through our mind link letting him know everything that's going on. As they leave I follow to the diner telling Alpha where they went asking if he wanted me to stay and watch. He tells me yes and that both him and James are on their way as well. So I sit across from them and wait for Alpha. As I wait I watch them my eyes going to Weylyn, something about him shows power but he's a human. "Alpha are you sure Weylyn is human, something about him is different." I link with alpha. "As far as we know Beta. James and I will be there shortly." He tells me. As I wait I just keep thinking about this weird power I feel from Weylyn. Then I see Alpha's truck pull up, I walk over to him to see what we should do.

Austin's POV

We pull up to the diner and park on the opposite side of the road. Jacob walks over to my window. " What should we do Alpha?" He asks. " I tell him we are gonna wait till after they leave then deal with Brett gets home, but if he does anything we are gonna deal with him here." As we watch I feel my wolf start clawing at me for control saying "MATE." I tell him I know, but we have to wait till we meet Weylyn. Being outside the diner I smell everything but Weylyn's scent is just so strong. "Alpha, Weylyn's going to the bathroom now would be the best time to " accidentally" see him," Jacob tells me. I think about it and realize that's a good idea so I get out of the truck and walk into the diner making sure Brett doesn't see me and make my way to the bathroom. As I do this I tell James and Jacob to come in and talk to Brett. As I step into the bathroom I'm hit with that familiar sweet scent again. Then suddenly I see him, and my wolf howls at the sight. I walk over to the sink as my stomach knots up not knowing what to do or say, but my wolf keeps clawing to come out. I start to wash my hands as he walks over to the sink as well. "Hi you must be new to town," I say to him. "Yeah, I just moved here today actually." He replies. "Ah, so you must be Weylyn Sabrina mentioned you," I say. "Oh, so you must be Sabrina's boss." He says. " Yes, I am my name's Austin it's nice to meet you," I tell him. "Nice to meet you as well." He says as he shakes my hand. As we shake hands I feel the same static shock as I did with Damien followed by the same tingles my wolf almost takes control to pin Weylyn and claim him here and now. He retracts his hand and shakes it a little. "It was nice meeting you Austin." He tells me and leaves. As he leaves my wolf keeps wanting to just go after him but I tell him we gotta wait.

Brett's POV

After Weylyn goes to the bathroom suddenly I see Jacob and James walk in and I realize that Alpha knows about Weylyn and I being on a date. They turn and walk to the counter and sit down just as Weylyn comes back to the table. " Is everything ok Brett?" He asks me. "Yes, are you enjoying the food?" I ask him. " Yes I am it's really good I've never had diner food like this." He tells me. As we set there I see Alpha walking over to where James and Jacob are sitting, I start to get nervous but I try to not show it in front of Weylyn. I continue to get to know Weylyn as we eat, I look over and notice the three of them had left so I relax a little. We finish eating and I get up to go pay for our food. As we leave I think about what could happen for not asking Alpha. As we are on our way back to Weylyn's I contemplate going to the pack house after I drop him off at home, I decided I better just get it over with. We pull up to his house I get out and open Weylyn's door to let him out, then I walk him to his door as I hug him I don't feel anything like I was told I would feel when I meet my mate, but I think maybe it just takes time. I tell him good night then head back to my car with my decision made to go to the pack house to talk to Alpha.
