Chapter Five

Austin's POV

After leaving the diner and returning to the pack house me, Jacob and James wait for Brett knowing he will come. The big question right now is what to do about Brett not asking about dating Weylyn "our mate he has no place being near him." My wolf growls. "I know and we will deal with that when he gets here," I tell him. "James I want a wolf watching Weylyn's house, Jacob I am telling him to leave Weylyn alone once and only once." I order James."Yes, Alpha." James and Jacob say as they leave my office. "Damien go out and wait for Brett to arrive them bring him here," I tell Damien.

Brett's POV

After dropping off Weylyn I start to go to the pack house knowing I am going to get yelled at. As I pull up to the pack house I see James and a warrior talking then he takes off, I look to the porch as I park and I see Luna Damien standing there looking at me. I get out and walk to the porch "Hello Luna." I say. "Omega, Alpha Austin wants to see you in his office now." "Yes, Luna," I tell him and make my way to Alpha's office.

Austin's POV

I sit in my office waiting on Brett when I hear a knock on my door "come in" I yell knowing it's Brett as I know his scent. "Luna Damien said you wanted to see me, alpha." He says as he walks in shortly after being joined by Damien and James. "Yes I did Brett, I have seen you were on a date with the human that moved into town. Without asking permission." I tell him looking intently into his eyes. "I know my Alpha but I really like him so I had to take the chance I wanted to see if the goddess was giving me a mate," Brett tells me. " I don't care, Brett, you are a member of this pack as well as an Omega you know the rules," I say raising my voice. "Yes alpha, sorry for breaking pack rules." He tells me bowing his head. "Now as for what you did, you have to stay here at the pack house and do all the house chores for a month and you're not allowed to see Weylyn any longer," I order him. "Yes, Alpha that sounds fair." He says with his head bowed. " Now go to your room for the night Omega," I order him. Brett bows his head and leaves my office. After he leaves Damien looks at me and says" that was the right thing to do Austin." "Yes I know, James can you leave me and Luna in private?" I ask James. James nods and leaves the office. "Damien today I met Weylyn and he's our second mate," I tell him nervously. " What do you mean our second mate?" He asks me. " Damien when I first caught Weylyn's scent on his paperwork I had the same feeling hit me as when I met you." I begin to tell him." I was confused at first as well so I went and spoke to the Elder who told me that it is possible to have two mates." "To be honest I can feel it too I wasn't sure at first but now that you say that it makes sense." He says. "And when I met him at the diner tonight, as I shook his hand the same jolt of electricity that we share sparked and made my wolf almost take over." I continue to tell him. He looks at me and says "Ok then I guess I need to meet him and we need to think of a way to tell him." " I agree but we are gonna have to be gentle about how we tell him." I tell Damien as he turns to leave" oh one other thing James said that he sensed something else in him something not human so we should check that out as well." "Hmm yeah, cause James and Sabrina both have a gift from the gods to be able to really read any being." He says. With that, Damien and I leave the office to go to our room for the night.

Weylyn's POV

As I get home from my date with Brett I notice it's late so I decide to shower and get ready for bed. As I'm showering I think about the date, then my mind floats to meeting Austin tonight I like Brett and all but something about Austin just made my stomach fill with butterflies. Suddenly the voice of the woman enters my head again and tells me "The time is nearly here my child you will soon find happiness." "What do you mean?" I try to ask but again no answer. It's driving me crazy with this voice but I decide to just finish my shower and get to sleep, I have a long day of exploring my new town tomorrow. As I sleep, I have a dream that I am running through them with two wolves a black on with blue and the other almost matching but with red through the fur. I get the feeling of safety and pure love.

The next morning I wake up and stretch out thinking about the dream and what it means. I get ready for the day eating a small breakfast. I head outside and to my truck and decide to drive around and check out the town. About lunchtime, I stop at the diner where Brett took me I sit at the bar. "Hello what you want to drink hun?" The waitress ask me. "Sweet tea is fine," I tell her, she walks and gets my tea, looking at the menu I get a double cheeseburger. I ask her if she knows Austin Stronghold. She looks at me and says "yes I do, why do you ask?" "I met him yesterday when I was having dinner here, and ever since he's been on my mind non-stop," I tell her. "Oh well he's a nice guy, he actually runs a few businesses here in town he has a boyfriend named Damien, they have been together for five years now I believe." She tells me. I sit back kinda down about that though, I kinda like him but if he has a boyfriend he will never be interested in me. Sighs softly "Thank you for telling me." At that time Austin walks in the front door, something in me lights up at the sight of him, behind him walks who I must assume is his boyfriend. As they walk my way I wave and tell Austin "Good morning." "Good morning Weylyn, how are you today?" He asks me. "I'm doing good just checked out the town more today," I tell him. "That's good Nashoba is a small town but a great town at the same time, Also Weylyn meet my boyfriend Damien morningstar." He says as he puts his arm around Damien who extends his hand. "Hi Weylyn Austin's told me about you moving to our town." He says. " Nice to meet you Damien, yeah I like the town it's small but I prefer small towns." As we shake hands a small spark surges between our hands the same way it did when I shook Austin's hand. After we talk more they go to another booth and sit down as I finish my food and go to explore the town more. My mind wonders back to them both handsome and strong looking. I enjoyed the date with Brett and like him but something about Austin and Damien feels right. I stop at the park and walks around it for a little bit. As I do the voice of the woman suddenly speaks to me and says "You will know when the moon is bright. My son you will be loved no matter what." I look around some starting to really think I am going crazy hearing a strange voice in my head.
