one; fresh start

"ASHLEIGH WHERE ARE YOU!" TJ, my older brother was yelling out to me.

"right here idiot!" I reply as I walk inside with boxes of stuff in my hands.

"I just wanted to say mum and dad want you to call them as soon as you're settled." He walked me upstairs to show me my new room and then we had a little catch up as I haven't seen him in at least a year. We talked about his girlfriend, roommates, school, soccer and these twin boys, who I'm apparently spending most of my time with as I have no friends according to him. I mean he is right though, I have no friends here.

I was just about to call my parents when I kicked a small box, I looked down to see a jewellery box so I did the obvious thing and picked it up to look inside. Just as I was about to open it my door bursted open.

"dad just texted me and he said that he wants you to call them now also once you finish on the phone you should come down and watch the soccer with me and the guys" I agreed to watch the game and then told him to get out, I love soccer how couldn't I? Growing up TJ and my dad went to a lot of the games and I would always tag along, we also played it whenever we got the chance to, my team was Manchester United as I use to live in Manchester and when I was born my dad would always dress me up in their colours so I didn't really have a choice. Before TJ walked out I asked him if he had left anything in this room, he told me that he actually had never been in here till now apparently the only person who has been in here was one of the twins. Which basically meant this jewellery box and whatever was inside belonged to whichever twin it was or the previous owner. As soon as he left I put the jewellery box on my bedside table and called my parents. While on the phone they did the parentally thing and asked how things were going and if I was alright. I hated it, they're so fake. They are always pretending that nothing happened,they weren't even mad and it kills me how fake they are, of course I love them I have no choice but let's just say I'm glad I got away from them and all their problems.
