nine; "perfect date"

harvey said he had a date planned for us so he made me get ready for it. once i was ready we left and he took me to the mall. we walked around a bit buying something every so often, we had lunch in the food court. while we were eating some fans approached us, they asked to get a photo with me first then one with both harvey and i before they took photos with just harvey and speaking to him for a bit. i didn't mind waiting because i knew how much he made them happy and how happy they made him. i sat watching them talk letting my mind wonder but it would always come back to the same topic, max.

for the past two months max has been one of the main things i've thought about, not just because we had a fight and i didn't talk to him for two months but also because i think i'm gaining feelings for him. i guess that's why i was so scared to talk to him again. the only reason i started talking to him again is because harvey and i are happy and nothing's going to take that away from me. he's not leaving me and i'm not leaving him. no matter how many times i tell myself this max is always at the back of my mind, i guess i really don't hate him.

"baby" i looked up to see both harvey and the fans looking at me "stacey here asked you if you're gonna post more video of you singing" i looked blankly at them for a second before realising stacey was one of the fans and she wanted to hear more of me singing, crazy i know right.

"oh uh yeah i could post more if that's what you guys want, i just thought i was irrelevant and you guys didn't care what i did" i laughed and bit and harvey wrapped his arms around my waist.

"of course they care baby, you're amazing and they want more." i just smiled enjoying the comfort of him hugging me. after a few more minutes of them talking the girls hugged harvey and i goodbye then we left to go to our next location of this date.

the next place we went was the movies, we watched a movie i've been telling harvey that i wanted to see for ages. after the movie it was dark outside, harvey and i jumped back into his car and began to drive. while driving harvey had his hand on my thigh rubbing soft circles, we had been driving for at least 20 minutes when i realised i had no clue where we were going.

"harvey? where are we going?"
"surprise baby, you'll see soon we're almost there" i nodded and we continued to drive.

after a few more minutes we arrived at a park with little fairy lights lighting a path to what looked like a picnic. i awed in amazement and harvey helped me out of the care, leading me down the path once we got to the picnic harvey and i sat down. i looked around taking in the view of the the lake and all the trees, this place was so relaxing. harvey started to unpack the food he had brought and we began to eat.

after harvey and i were full we cuddled on the blanket looking up at the stars. i was thinking about everything that happened these pass months and smiled to myself, nothing could ruin this..

"i love you.." i coughed, harvey and i haven't said i love you yet and he just said it i like harvey a lot but i don't know if i loves him yet. "ashleigh i love you, you don't have to say it back but i do love you" he began to sit up causing me to as well. "a couple weeks ago i got a scholarship for the school of my dream, the only problem is it's a couple hours away from here and i wouldn't be able to see you till summer break now i know that would put a lot of strain on our relationship and i don't want that for you so i've been thinking about it all day and i think it's best if we broke up.."

in that moment my heart broke
