"Here, Yuu-kun" You said, gaining his attention. "That one's wrong, the fragment is from Padel. He may have a similar style to Doherty, but you shouldn't mistake them" You told him, pointing with your finger the text he had been writing about. "I'll wrote you down some tips that will help you difference them."

He thanked you while you quickly noted the tips in a piece of paper. He read it and just after that, he went directly to the fragment of the novel to analyse it again. Honestly, you were surprised to see him concentrate about something regarding studies.

Ever since the teacher announced that the ones who failed the exams won't go to Tokyo, the team took the determination to make the four boys pass their exams no matter what, and you've offered to help them.

Actually, Nishinoya was kinda annoyed by the fact that he couldn't had the date he was planning with you. Despite that, he was grateful that you were helping him so much.

The team organised in groups, according to their classes. At first, they thought you were going to help Hinata and Kageyama, since you were a first year, but you knew that Nishinoya was terrible in modern literature. And well, from the beginning you had already met up with him that day, even if it wasn't with the same plans.

On the other hand, Hinata and Kageyama didn't received many help from Tsukishima, so, during your break time at school, you were also helping the two boys with English. However, as much as you wanted to, English wasn't your best subject, so you asked your friend Hitoka for help.

At first the girl was shy to talk to two boys who she didn't knew, but after talking to them a bit more, you realised they got along very well, 'specially' with Hinata, you thought. Of course, you made sure to tease her a bit after that. You even introduced her to the rest of the team one day.

So that sort of summarize it all. On that moment, you were at Tanaka's house, sitting on a kotatsu and with all the books scattered around the table. Since you started confidently explaining Nishinoya about literature, Ennoshita, who was sitting in the other side of the table, had been staring at you for a while, utterly surprised.

"I didn't know you were this good at modern literature, (Y/N)-san. You even know the subjects of the second year" He stated. You smiled at him and awkwardly rubbed the side of your neck. "Yeah! (Y/N)-chan's super intelligent!" Nishinoya agreed. The boys had just be complementing you since you've arrived, and it was starting to make you feel embarrassed.

"Well, I really like reading, so most of this authors are already known to me" You tried to explain him, but Ennoshita was still on awe. He seemed like the clever one from that group. Suddenly, you heard the door open.

"Yo, I'm back" Tanaka was at the door, with a bag of crisps. The group greeted him with glittering eyes, looking directly at the food. After offering some to everyone, he sat besides Narita and Kinoshita, who were helping him with maths. They decided to come to the study lesson too. You hadn't talk much with those two, since they were always quite and separated from the volleyball team, but they seemed nice. After all, they were Nishinoya's friends.

Some moments later, the door flew open again, reveling a blonde woman. "Wow, you really are studying!" She seemed surprised to see books around. Tanaka gave her an annoyed look, as the woman rubbed his head, teasingly. You guessed that she was his sister.

All the boys greeted her loudly, even Nishinoya, and she looked at all of you. Her gaze landed in you. "Hmm? And this girl?" The woman asked confused, since she hadn't seen you before. Out of the blue, an idea came to her mind. "Ryuu! Don't tell me she is your girlfriend?!" She suddenly exclaimed, surprising you all. Tanaka went a little red and you couldn't help but to do the same. "N-Noo, we are just friends! We are only studying together!" You stuttered at her, trying to not create a misunderstanding. Tanaka quickly shut her up too, saying that that was a nonsense.

Curiously, you took a look at Nishinoya. He kept silent, grabbing with force his pen and looking a bit annoyed. Before you could say anything more, he returned his attention to the text in front of him, like nothing had happened.

'How much i would have like to shout out loud that she is my girlfriend, but I can't... yet'

He thought.

Weeks soon passed, and the boys were getting better at their worst subjects. Nishinoya even made a studying schedule, and everyday you received a pair of messages from him asking doubts about literature.

He was determined to pass all their exams. He needed to do it, even if it was just for you, and not for the training camp. While he memorized the last author left, he let out a breath.

'How much will I have to wait?' He thought, scrawling in the paper. He wanted to, but it seemed like destiny was against him confessing. Nishinoya looked at the calendar hanging in front of his desk. Three days until the exams started. Enough time to revise all the subjects and have great marks.

Sighing, he returned to his book. But just as he was about to start reading again, he noticed something he had unconsciously write in the corner of the paper while scrawling.

He blushed and let a smile form in his lips, seeing that he had wrote your name.

As soon as the bell sounded, you stood up from your seat and went directly to the second year corridor. If you remembered well, Nishinoya had just had modern literature class, and Takeda, the teacher, should have gave them already their marks. You hurried upstairs and as you turned the corned, someone crushed into you.

"(Y/N)-chan!!" Nishinoya exclaimed, surprised to see you there. He looked at you, rubbing your head because of the hit. He soon became worried that he hurt you and asked if you were okay.

You stood immobile for a second, and then looked up directly at him. "How was it?!" You demanded him an answer. He got surprised for an instant, but then remembered what he wanted to tell you.

You felt his arms go around your back and push you tightly toward his chest. "I passed!!" He exclaimed cheerfully squeezing you even more. You were surprised at first, but then returned the hug. You congratulated him, utterly glad, while enjoying his embraced.

Some hours later, Hitoka and you went to the gym. It was practise already, and Hitoka wanted to see how Hinata and Kageyama did on their exams.

"You two really are stupid" You heard Tsukishima snickering as you entered the gym. It seemed like both Hinata and Kageyama had failed their exams and were depressed, sitting in a corner.

"What happened?!" Hitoka approached the two boys to see their exams, and her face went blank. "Wait,... the answers are correct, but are in the wrong place" She murmured, too shocked to say anything else. Tsukishima started to laugh even louder and you kicked him.

"But Nishinoya and Tanaka had passed their exams, right?" Daichi said, still with some hope. "You two could go to the extra classes and after that, if you pass, take a train, right?" The captain tried to cheer them. Meanwhile, the rest of you sweat dropped. All of the team will somehow managed to go to Tokyo.

You let out a sigh. Since you passed all your exams, you had a free week before the club go to the training camp. You were grateful for that break. However, you thought that a week alone would be a bit boring, and an idea passed through your mind.

You approached Nishinoya and took the hem of his shirt to gain his attention. He looked at you, wondering what you wanted to tell him. Gathering courage, you managed to say it.

"Yuu-kun, would you like to meet this weekend?"

{ I don't really know how is modern literature in Japan. In the literature of my country, we study authors and analyse their poems or novels so I did it like that xD

However, I have bad news. I don't think I'll be able to write during May :( I have my final exams in this month and won't have time to this. I'm sorryyyyyy pls don't hate me but this exams are really important to me. I hope you understand T^T }
