Chapter Five: Helicarrer Battle

"We are in final launch sequence." A voice over the speaker said.

"We are go on guidance." A tech said.

"All personnel to launch station." The voice over the speaker said again. Pierce was meeting the World Security Council as they had arrived at the Triskelion.

"And how was your flight?" He asked politely.

"Lovely. The ride from the airport less so." Councilwoman Hawley said.

"Sadly, SHIELD can't control everything."

"Including Captain America." One of the other councilman pointed out. Pierce walked over to one of the guards, who handed him a case containing four pins.

"This facility is biometrically controlled, and these will give you unrestricted access." The council members each took a pin to wear.

"I've been parking there for two months." A tech said to his partner.

"But it's his spot." His partner pointed out.

"So where's he been?"

"I think Afghanistan."

"Negative, DT-6. The pattern is full." The tech said into his earpiece before speaking to his partner. "Well, he could have said something." Suddenly a sharp noise came through their earpiece.

"Must be the dish."

"I'll check it out."

"Triskelion command request we clear the area for launch." A voice said over the speak as the Tech went to the door and opens it. When he opened it he came face to face with Steve, Sam, Jacqueline and Hill on the other side of the door. Sam and Hill pointed their guns at him.

"Excuse us." Steve said. The tech held his hands up and stepped aside to let them enter.

Pierce was addressing the World Security Council members.

"I know the road hasn't exactly been smooth, and some of you would have gladly kicked me out of the car along the way. Finally we're here, and the world should be grateful." Once he finished the toast and they had started drinking Steve came over the SHIELD microphone that everyone in the building could hear.

"Attention, all SHIELD agents. This is Steve Rogers. You've heard a lot about me over the last few days, some of you were even ordered to hunt me down. But I think it's time you know the truth. SHIELD is not what we thought it was, it's been taken over by HYDRA. Alexander Pierce is their leader. The STRIKE and Insight crew are HYDRA as well. I don't know how many more, but I know they're in the building. They could be standing right next to you. They almost have what they want: absolute control. They shot Nick Fury and it won't end there. If you launch those Helicarriers today, HYDRA will be able to kill anyone that stands in their way, unless we stop them. I know I'm asking a lot, but the price of freedom is high, it always has been, and it's a price I'm willing to pay. And if I'm the only one, then so be it. But I'm willing to bet I'm not." As Steve finished his speech Sam spoke.

"Did you write that down first, or was it off the top of your head? " He asked sarcastically.

"Alright. Lets go you two." Steve said.

"I'm staying here with Hill." Jacqueline said. Sam nodded but Steve looked at her confused. Hill looked at her hands. "Long story short. If Pierce or anyone says the magic words I am under their control. I have no free will. Those words are in the file SHIELD has on Project Silent Fox. I need to delete, remove, destroy it before Natasha releases everything to the public. Thet don't need to know that."
