Chapter Seven: It's a Party!

Jacqueline wasn't sure when the nightmare started. All she knew was that she needed to do something. She stood up but wasn't sure where her end goal was. She got on the elevator and Jarvis spoke to her.

"Is there anywhere you want to go?"

"I don't care. I need to move around." The elevator started to move and Jacqueline closed her eyes and rest her head against the wall. The elevator suddenly stopped. "What the hell? Oh it's you." She said looking at Tony who had a cup of coffee.

"Can't sleep?" Tony asked.

"Nightmare." Jacqueline said. Tony hummed in response.

"The vision you saw must have screwed you over pretty bad then."

"Yeah well the last person I ever wanted to hear give me orders is my biological father." She said leaning against the wall again.

"A white girl with Daddy issues. Surprising." He said taking a sip of his coffee.

"Well he is the reason half the nation is scared of me."

"What's your father's name?"

"Travis Ozline."

"Yikes. That man was batshit crazy."

"Welcome to the first 15 years of my life." The elevator beeped and Tony looked at her for a moment longer.

"Come on kid. I got something you can help me and Banner with." He said. She followed him to his small lab over looking the living room. "I remember Steve saying you I had a huge lab in your basement."

"What's Jacqueline doing here?" Bruce asked.

"Nightmare. Did you know her father was Travis Ozline?"

"God I'm sorry." Bruce said making her shrug.

"Are you guys creating an AI or human?" She asked looking over some of the coding.

"We call it Ultron. It's supposed to act like a bouncer in a club for the earth."

"So you are creating a superior life form to protect earth from another superior life form that may or may not come to attack earth." She said. "You coding is wrong if you are using a different sub thought process you need to shift the alpha order and have the beta function first."

"Tony what is she talking about?" Bruce asked looking at the man. Tony set his cup down and walked over to the coding she was looking at.

"What do you mean the beta function needs to be after the alpha order?" Tony asked confused.

"No it needs to be before the alpha order and the beta order needs to be the next sequence after the sub thought. Trust me." She said leaving.

"Where are you going?" Tony asked.

"Back to bed. I'm tired again." She said. Tony and Bruce watched her leave and shared a look.

"She is right." Tony said looking over the sequence again. "I feel inferior now."

"Really?" Bruce asked laughing slightly making Tony pout at him.

Jacqueline was staring at the dress Natasha had brought her for that night when there was a knock on the door. She sighed thinking it was Steve again.

"Go away Steve. I said I wasn't hungry." The door opened anyways.

"Not Steve but okay." Jacqueline's eyes widened at the voice of the person.

"Daddy!" She yelled jumping into his arms. He laughed and hugged her close.

"Ugh baby girl you are getting a little too big for jump attacks." He said. After a heavy silence Sam spoke. "Jackie we need to talk about this vision." Jacqueline sighed sat down on her bed.
