Chapter 2

Percy's POV

I flashed to the underworld to look for Nico. I haven't talked to him in a few weeks and I'm starting to get worried. Usually he IM's me at least once every week. But he stopped about 4 weeks ago.

I looked around and noticed a lot of skeletons with swords, spears and shields charging a figure. I instantly recognized him as Nico. I quickly charged at the skeletons. I slashed the nearest one with riptide but found that it didn't kill the skeleton warrior. Them I frowned when I remembered riptide didn't have any effect on skeleton warriors. (I'm just making this up cuz I don't really know if this is true)

Then I remember my godly weapons. I concentrate on my spear and it showed up in my hand, ready to rip through my enemies. Being a god certainly has its perks, I thought as I lunged into the fight.

I impaled the nearest skeleton with my spear, then threw it off as it got stuck on my spear. Well at least it's dead for real now, I mused darkly.

I flung the skeleton to the nearest group of skeletons and they all shattered from the amount of force I put into the throw.

'Strike!' I yelled laughing.

Nico finally noticed me and fought his way over to me.

'What are you doing here Percy? And why are you glowing like a god?' He asked.

I ducked, then swung my spear like a baseball bat at a skeleton's head, and watched as it's head went flying.

'Homerun!' I scream as I move on to the next enemy.

'And to answer your questions. I'm here to see how you were doing. You haven't IM'ed me in a while. And I'm glowing because I'm a god now. Don't ask how it happened because even I'm a bit confused as to how it happened' I said while I used my powers over the elements and creations to make a small army of elemental warriors.

I don't even know how I did it but I'm so not complaining. My elemental warriors looked so badass and scary! They look like the Dementors from Harry Potter. Only difference was that they all had swords and some were on fire. And not some regular fire, more like greek fire! Others had ice all around them while others still had rocks swirling around them with lightning coming off of them.

'How did you do that?' Nico asked bewildered.

'I'm a god remember? I can do a lot of stuff now!' I said smirking.

Nico grinned. 'That is so awesome! Now we can push them back!' Nico said charging the skeletons.

I quickly willed my small Dementor army to attack the skeletons. I was simply standing there watching wondering how they fight. And I quickly got my answer.

I watched as my greek fire dementors picked up skeletons by their throats then out of nowhere, the skeletons set on fire. Not even ashes were left behind! I was so amazed I almost missed what the ice ones did. The Ice Dementors sent spikes of ice into the enemy ranks, making quick work of a lot of skeletons. Some were even frozen solid! And every time their ice covered blades touched a skeleton, the skeleton instantly turned into ice, right before shattering into pieces. Wow they are so badass!

Then I turned to the last set of Dementors. The ones I like to call the Storm Dementors. They would throw the rocks at groups of skeletons and as soon as the rock hit a skeletons, it would explode in a giant thunder explosion. Literally, and everything in its area of effect was instantly vaporized.

After I summoned my army, the battle was over in a matter of minutes. The skeletons didn't stand a chance!

'Dude, that was so badass! What powers do you have?' Nico asked excited.

'Hmm, well I'm the God of Tides, Currents, Master of all Weapons, Creation and destruction, Of heroes, of loyalty, Of all Elements and Vengeance! So I'm guessing I can do anything that my domains control. I used my creation and element powers to create my Dementor Army which I am still unsure of how to do' I said honestly.

Nico's eyes widened in shock. 'Dude, no god has ever had so many domains! You are like beyond a god! You are like the ultimate super awesome badass god of all gods!' Nico exclaimed totally exaggerating the entire thing.

'Dude I think you're exaggerating a bit' I said smirking.

'Im not exaggerating! Dude your so cool!' He said in admiration.

I grinned. 'You wanna be a god as well? I could make you one' I asked serious.

'Seriously? You're not kidding?' He asked shocked.

'No I'm not kidding. You wanna be my sidekick or what?' I asked smiling.

Nico glared at me. 'Sidekick?' He asked angrily.

I laughed. 'Dude you got nothing to complain about. I'm going to make you the most badass sidekick in the history of all sidekicks! Trust me, you will not be complaining when I'm done!' I said as I cracked my fingers.

Nico looked excited. I touched his forehead and did a quick incantation.

Nico immediately started to glow, then he started growing into his godly height. I looked up at him as he finished growing and stopped glowing. I must say, he looks way more scarier than his dad! His entire aura pretty much screamed "Come near me and you will suffer a nice death" But there was nothing "nice" about Nico right now. Well except for the nice Black coat he is wearing.

I look down to see if I'm wearing something as awesome as his coat and blush with embarrassment.

'WHAT THE HADES! WHY AM I WEARING A PINK I LOVE CAMP HALFBLOOD T-SHIRT?!?!?' I scream in horror.

Nico looks down, sees my shirt and bursts out laughing.

I glare at him. 'Shut up sidekick!' I scream at him. He instantly shuts up and glares at me.

'I'm not you're sidekick! I'm you're awesome super badass sidekick! There's a difference, trust me!' Nico says as his straight face turns into a grin.

I laugh and he soon joins in. He quickly shrinks and the Fates show up.

'Nico Di Angelo, You are now the God of Shadows, Nightmares, Darkness and Eternal Punishment. Your animal is the wolf. Your weapon is this staff made of pure shadows. It also serves as your symbol of power' The fates declared handing Nico his weapon.

Then the fates disappeared. Nico turned to me smirking.

'Ok what are you thinking about doing now? I know that face anywhere' I said suspiciously.

Nico grinned. 'Oh nothing, just thought, since I'm the god of nightmares, why not give a few nightmares to a certain son of Zeus, then make his nightmare come true?' Nico says with an evil grin.

My eyes widen before I smile. 'Dude, let's do it!' I said already thinking of What to do with Annabeth.
