Another Nightfury {toothless X Reader}

My First Friend

The humans jumped on their dragons and flew of towards the hunters. They defended the island from hunters and dragonflyers.

The attack didn't last long, the attack wasn't big. The riders came back towards me.

"that was way too easy hiccup" snotlout said.

"i know, but we have to focus on the new Nightfury right now" hiccup replied.

"just leave fishlegs here, and we'll go after the hunters" snotlout said.

"no, we can't just leave him alone with fishlegs, we al need to help her" hiccup said.

"hiccup, as much as I don't want to agree with snotlout. We have to find the hunters, fishlegs can handle it" Astrid said.

"i know fishlegs can do it, I'm just worried about him" hiccup replied.

"we all are, but we have to find the hunters" Astrid said.

"Astrid is right, I can do this, and you need to find those hunters" fishlegs said.

"OK, now everyone, mount up" hiccup said.

The humans flew away except for fishlegs, the one I trusted.

"so what do you want to do boy, " fishlegs asked.

I layed down and closed my eyes, like I didn't care. He probably assumed I was bored, but what I was actually doing was something only Nightfuries cold do, heal parts of their body.

I started to glow slightly, while fishlegs looked at me surprised. I only healed my tongue, nothing more, I'd take too much of my power to do it.

"OK, that was strange. But you don't want to do anything, I asume" fishlegs said.

I couldn't be this rude, so I lifted my head and walked towards him. I nuzzled my muzzle into his side, making him chuckle.

"so you like attention. How about I give you a bath" he asked playfully.

I reacted by jumping up and down happily, licking him all over.

"OK, OK, I take that as a yes, and how did you get your t.... " he tried to say but started to think. "oh, you healed your tongue, didn't you" he asked, and I just nodded.

He walked out of the clubhouse, and gestured me to follow him. We walked to a small dome, and fishlegs took a bucket with water and a sponge.

"come Here boy" fishlegs said.

I ran to fishlegs and stopped in front of him. He gently started washing me with the sponge. The sponge felt nice on my skin, but fishlegs his hand on my back was more relaxing, it gave me a safe feeling.

I purred at his slow movements over my back.

"he, he, so you like this. Maybe we could all stay with you tonight in the dome. Would you like that" fishlegs asked.

As a reaction to his question, I nuzzled my muzzle into his chest purring, while he gently petted my head. After I licked his face, as a yes.

"so I take that as a yes" he said wiping the saliva of his face.

"so do you like my rider" a gronckle asked.

"he's nice, and shows his care for dragon's" I replied.

"wow, you have really low voice" the gronckle said.

"i know" I replied firmly.

"so my name is meatlug, and your on dragon's edge" meatlug said.

"that certainly is a beautiful name. My name is midnight" I replied, while meatlug was blushing in a dragon way.

"thanks, your name is nice too" she said a little awkward.

"thanks, so can you help me with the names of the others" I asked.

"yea sure, but I think my rider wants to talk to you first" she said.

"omg, your already communicating" fishlegs said.

"please tell me he won't always be this excited" I asked meatlug.

"he's always excited" she replied.

"so did you like your bath" fishlegs asked.

I responded by nuzzling into his chest and purring.

"your welcome, but I see you two are busy, so I'll be in my rock garden. Meatlug, if your hungry, I'll be in my rock garden" fishlegs said.

"I'll do" meatlug said.

Fishlegs. Walked away and I turned to meatlug.

"so you got time to help me with the names" I asked.

"yea sure, so the boy with the monstrous nightmare is snotlout, and his dragon is hookfang. Then you have the warrior type girl Astrid with her nadder stormfly. And you have hiccup and toothless, the one on the Nightfury. And you have the twins, ruffnut and tuffnut and their zipleback barf and belch" she said.

"cool so who is most trust worthy to you, besides fishlegs" I asked.

"hiccup, he's the one that is the best with dragon's, and Astrid, she's his girlfriend, and she cares a lot about us too. And the twins are destructive so, if you want to destroy things, go with them, and if you want to make a rider look cool so he can show of then go to snotlout" meatlug. Said.

"thanks, I'll probably stick with you two for now" I replied.

"thanks" she said nuzzling her head into mine.

"for what" I asked.

"for sticking with us. I'm usually a little left out. Barf and belch and hookfang usually ignore me, and toothless And stormfly usually spent most of their time together" she said a little sad.

"I'll be there for you, and I'll always be there for you" I replied.

"thanks" she said, getting happier.

"so why don't we go to my rider and we'll ask him for some fish, and rocks" meatlug said.

"yea, I'm pretty hungry" I replied.

We walked to fishlegs his hut. He was in his rock garden as he said. We walked up to him.

"oh, hey. Do you two need anything" fishlegs asked.

Meatlug picked up a rock and ate it.

"oh you're hungry, wait here, I'll get you some fish and rocks" fishlegs said, walking inside.

He came out again with two baskets, one with fish and one with rocks.

"here you go, dig in" he said, and we Did as he said. We both started eating.

After we ate we were both pretty tired.

"I'm pretty tired, if you don't mind I'll get some sleep" I said.

"me too" meatlug said.

I laid down in front of the rock garden and closed my eyes, but before I went to sleep I felt meatlug laying down besides me.
