Another Nightfury {toothless X Reader}

I Saved My First Life

"wake up sleepy head" stormfly said, poking me.

"ugh, five more minutes" I said with my eyes still closed.

"either you get up yourself, or I'll use my spines" she said threatening.

"try me" I replied.

Stormfly got pissed and slammed her tail on my back. But because of all the torture I endured, I didn't feel a thing.

"so, are you done" I asked.

Stormfly walked away angrily.
Soon toothless came towards me, looking very pissed.

"why did you attack stormfly" he asked.

"i attacked her. If I attacked her then you should take a look at my back" I replied.

Toothless looked at my back and gasped.

"I'm sorry, what did she do" he asked.

"i didn't feel like getting up yet, so she slammed her tail on my back" I replied.

Toothless just looked sad and walked away without saying anything.
I walked after him towards the building in the middle (forgot the name of the building in the middle).

I noticed everyone was there.

"hey boy, there you are" fishlegs said happily.

"are we just gonna keep calling him boy, or will we give him a name" tuffnut asked.

"i think we first have to look at these" fishlegs said, pointing at my back.

"but those are nadder spines" hiccup said.

"did stormfly do this" fishlegs asked Astrid.

"i don't know, I don't think she would do such a thing" Astrid said confused.

"are you OK" meatlug asked.

"I'm fine, don't worry" I replied.

"OK gang, it's getting late. And fishlegs apparently told our new dragon here that we would sleep with him in the dome tonight" hiccup said.

"so hiccup, what will we call him" ruffnut insisted.

"why don't we discuss that tonight in the dome" hiccup suggested.

"so why did she do it" hookfang asked.

"i didn't want to wake up" I replied.

"you should be careful with her, she can do much worse" hookfang said seriously.

"she better watch herself, before her attitude gets her killed" I said getting angry.

"chill bro, just saying" hookfang said.

"yea I know, I'm sorry" I said, calming down.

"so why did she do it" Barf and belch asked.

"um barf, belch!! Don't ask him, atleast if you want to live" hookfang quickly added.

"okkk. So what's up with you and meatlug" barf asked.

"she's just helping me" I said.

"oh, nothing else" belch asked smirking.

"nope" I said coldly.

"oh, OK" barf said.

I walked away from them, towards the stables. I arrived at the stables, and I looked out over the sea. Seeing the beautiful sunset, thinking of how my life has just changed.

I let out a strange, low and loud roar. It got everyone's attention and hiccup, astrid and fishlegs, ran towards me.

"what wrong, is Viggo here" hiccup asked, while I looked at the sunset.

"hiccup, I think he just roared out of happiness or something" fishlegs said, while Astrid petted my head.

Suddenly the wood beneath me and Astrid cracked, and we fell down. I quickly took Astrid in my paws and wrapped my wings around us (like toothless did with hiccup in the 1st movie).

I fell on the hard ground beneath it. It was a pretty long fall, and this did hurt. Not long after, the whole gang, and the dragon's came running towards me.

"oh no, where's Astrid" fishlegs asked scared.

"she, she, she's gone" hiccup said in tears.

"where is my rider" stormfly yelled at me.

"easy spikeball, she's safe" I replied.

"what did you just call me" stormfly threatened.

"not now stormfly" toothless interrupted.

I slowly opened my wings revealing, a knocked out Astrid to hiccup and the rest of the gang.

"he saved her" snotlout asked surprised.

"thanks you" hiccup said softly, while petting my head.

"did you actually just save her" toothless asked.

"yes" I simply replied.

"but you barely know us, why would you risk your life for us" stormfly asked.

"I've let enough people in my life die, and I'm not gonna let it happen again" I said a little scared.

"thank you" stormfly said nuzzling me.

"look hiccup, the dragon's are talking" fishlegs said.

I tried to stand up, but I fell down again because of my dizziness.

"easy there boy, you need to take it easy" hiccup said, holding his hand on my muzzle.

"hookfang, can you get him to the dome" toothless asked hookfang.

Hookfang picked me up and flew me to the dome, while the others brought Astrid to her hut.

"so that was pretty badass" hookfang said.

"thanks" I replied.

"so what did you mean by' I can't anyone else in my life die' ", hookfang asked.

"I've known many people and dragon's, but they where either killed by other dragon's or kills by drago or Viggo" I said.

"I'm sorry" he said.

"it's OK, I've accepted my losses. After losing 543 human and dragon friend, you learn to accept their death and move on" I said.

"I'm really sorry" hookfang said again.

"it's ok" I replied.

Not much later, everyone came in the dome, except for Astrid and stormfly. Toothless walked up to me and and rubbed his head against mine.

"thanks for saving Astrid" toothless said.

Soon everyone joined their dragon and went to sleep. Toothless laid down behind me and kept me warm, because the healing wounds made me cold. Hiccup laid against me and went to sleep.

"goodnight midnight" I heard meatlug say.

"you too, meatlug" I replied.

I closed my eyes and went to sleep.
