EDITED
Thought I'd mention that this is a Tom Holland Spiderman Fan Fiction, not an Andrew Garfield or Toby Maguire Fan Fiction. It's a Fan Fiction about the best Spiderman.Spiderman sat on the roof of a building in Queens, bored out of his mind. You'd never think that Queens would have an entire day where there were no crimes Spiderman could help with. Even helping someone with directions would've been better than this. He had his legs hanging off the side of the building, swinging them and kicking the wall with his heels. He pulled out his phone from some mystery pocket in his suit and decided to call one of his contacts, sadly being left on voicemail, "Hey Happy, it's Peter Parker. Just thought I'd let you know that nothing happened today, nothing to worry about over here." Peter puffed out his cheeks in annoyance and looked up from his feet he was originally looking at to see a bright glowing from down the street. "Oh shoot! Happy, there's a problem! I gotta go!" He quickly ended the message and swung down the street to the source of the glowing, an all too familiar building. It was his apartment building.
Peter scanned the crowd of people emerging from the building for his Aunt May, but she was nowhere in sight. He immediately began to panic and recklessly ran into his home, "May! May! Where are you!" His voice was wavering out of utter fear. Then, he heard coughing. Peter looked over and saw May, barely awake and still breathing, "May! I'm going to get you outta here!" He ran over to her and pulled her onto his back to carry her out of the building.
As soon as they made it out, Peter felt his aunt's body go completely limp on his back. Lightly putting her onto the ground, he once again began to panic, "May! May! Y-You need to wake up!" Before he could say anything else, May was pulled off the ground and onto a stretcher by two paramedics. Under Peter's mask, he had tears flowing out of his eyes. Watching May get pulled into an ambulance, Peter ran up to one of the paramedics, completely forgetting that he was supposed to be the brave, fearless, Spiderman, "I-Is she going to be okay?"
The paramedic appeared to be slightly shocked at seeing Spiderman, but shook it off, "She appears to be in a coma, I'm not certain on when she'll wake up. Do you know this woman's name?"
"Yeah... she's my-" Peter quickly realized his mistake, going back and rephrasing his sentence. "H-Her name is May Parker."
The paramedic nodded, "Thank you Spiderman," and climbed into the ambulance that drove to the hospital.
Peter didn't know what to feel, there was a mixture of emotions; anger, confusion, but mainly, sadness. He'd been walking around Queens for over half an hour now, having no idea where to go. He'd managed to find his backpack and change out of his Spiderman Suit. Actually, now all he had left was in that backpack, and worst of all, the majority of it was homework he still had yet to do. Nothing that could be useful in this situation. He had thought about calling Ned, but decided against it for some unknown reason. Instead, Peter felt it was right to call Happy, for whatever reason, "Hey Happy," his voice was beyond glum and miserable, but while Peter thought he was just talking to himself, Happy Hogan had actually picked up this time. "I don't really know what to do right now. Th-There was a fire where I live. A-And now Aunt May's in a coma, and I don't know where to go and I'm just having a really bad day... well, I'm sorry if I bothered you... bye."
Peter hung up the phone feeling even more miserable now. After talking about everything that had just happened, it seemed to make everything sink in more. He sat down by the side of the rode and buried his face in his knees and let out everything he was holding in.
"Hey are you okay, kid?" Peter felt a warm hand on his shoulder, causing him to jerk up to see the face of the first Avenger.
"C-Captain America?" Peter's glossy eyes widened at seeing the man he'd fought against in Germany, but Cap didn't know he was Spiderman obviously. "W-What are you doing here?!"
Cap took a seat next to Peter, he wasn't wearing his suit and didn't hold his shield, just wore normal clothes. "I'm just taking a walk, I used to live here, grew up here in fact..."
Peter was suddenly very confused, "Wait, we're in Brooklyn? I guess I'd been walking pretty far..."
"You walked here? Where from? Maybe I can take you home," Captain America, or I guess you could say Steve Rogers, smiled, trying to comfort the clearly upset Peter.
"Queens, I live in Queens. But I don't really have anywhere to go," Peter frowned, causing Steve to ask why. "My house just burnt down, and now my aunt's in a coma... I really don't have anywhere to go."
"Well," Steve stood up from the pavement, dusting himself off. "You seem like a nice kid, I guess for the time being you could stay with me," he offered Peter his hand to pull him up.
Peter was shocked, Captain America was offering to let him stay in Avenger Headquarters with his idols. He would've been over the moon if the events that'd just occurred hadn't happened. "Y-You don't have to do that! I'll survive on my own!"
"Nah," Rogers brushed off his comment, insisting that he come along. "It's not a problem, there's plenty of space for a kid like you." Eventually giving in, Peter took Steve's hand and got pulled up off the pavement, telling a very grateful thank you.
Steve lead Peter to a car parked on the side of the street that was on the older side. He refused to drive a newer one with all the fancy buttons when he hardly understood how to drive the one he had.
While Steve drove, Peter rode shotgun, resting his head on the window the entire ride, stilling feeling absolutely miserable. The older of the two, smartly decided on letting Peter sit in silence, knowing he'd had a rough day.
"We're here," Steve parked his car in the garage that contained cars that mostly belonged to Tony Stark.
When getting out of the car, something once again dawned on Peter, "Ah, Sir." He nervously scratched at the back of his neck, "I don't really have anything with me..."
"Ah, that's okay," they both walked to an elevator that would lead them both to the main level. "We'll figure that out later. Also, call me Steve." They continued to ascend upwards until the doors opened.
A/N
I wanted to publish this chapter before Infinity War comes out, so that I can include any character that might possibly die in the movie without getting in trouble for having false facts!
