  EDITED
Peter awoke, feeling an aching pain spread throughout his body. The drowsiness of staying up late and the eventful evening he had still plagued him. He rubbed his eyes, trying to deprive them of sleep, but he concluded that the only way to truly wake up was by getting out of bed.

He pulled himself out of bed and walked out his bedroom door with heavy footsteps. He yawned, not fully conscious about the situation he was in, taking a seat at the bar in the kitchen next to Sam. Clint stood at the stove flipping pancakes and making bacon.

"Good morning Peter," Clint slid two pancakes onto a plate, as well as 3 pieces of bacon, and a cup of apple juice, handing it to Peter. "I forgot to mention yesterday, I'm Clint." The only response that Hawkeye received was a nod as the boy shoved a huge piece of pancake in his mouth.

"Thanks for the pancakes Clint!" Peter smiled to him as Steve walked in looking the complete opposite as the kid; well rested and ready for the day.

"Oh, you're up early Peter. Did you sleep well?" The dirty blonde put his hand on Peter's shoulder in a comforting way.

"Yeah, Mr. Stark came in around midnight, but right after that, I fell asleep," he never once stopped gulping down food. Childish, I know, but what can I say, he's only 15.

A few minutes later, Tony Stark walked in dressed in his usual suit and tie with his absolutely unnecessary sunglasses. "C'mon kid, let's go! We've got a lot to do," Tony's statement slightly threw Peter off guard, but he reluctantly stood up, not even knowing why.

As they were walking to one of Tony's many cars, Peter found now a good time to ask, "So, uh, where're we going?"

What Peter said, he immediately regretted, because he received a look from Mr. Stark, as if saying, 'Are you stupid or something?'

"You don't have anything do you? No clothes. No toothbrush. How long have you even been wearing those clothes? You stink!" Tony climbed into the front seat on his car and Peter climbed into the back, assuming that he wasn't on front seat level yet.

The duo drove until they parked at the front of a Target. When they walked in and got a cart, Tony was occasionally stopped to snap a picture with an Iron Man fan, to Peter's annoyance. He really did just want to get this shopping trip over with, not only was it slightly awkward, (Peter didn't know why it was) but the kid was also starving. True, he did just eat less than an hour ago. But he's a growing kid, and growing kids need to eat, or at least that's what Aunt May woul- oh wait. Peter suddenly found himself frowning, he didn't find himself in the need to cry though, so that was a plus. Even if he'd wanted to cry, he wouldn't have, he was in public with Tony Stark. Someone would've caught it on camera, and when he'd get back to school, Flash would never let him hear the end of it.

They got to the clothing section eventually, "Okay kid, just find your size and start throwing things in the cart." Tony proceeded to do the same thing he'd requested of Peter to do to the point where they only had enough room for the few necessities like a tooth brush and comb. When they got to the checkout, their grand total ended up being a number that any normal person would faint at seeing. But since it was Tony Stark paying, he acted as if he were tipping a waitress, no big deal.

After paying and after Peter went into a fit of thanking Stark, Tony decided to surprise the kid and take him out to lunch.

"Mr. Stark, I think tha- WOAH! We're going to Steak 'n Shake?!?!" They parked, walked in, and were given a booth. "Ned and I come here all the time to hang out! It's our favorite!"

Tony looked over his menu at Peter with a puzzled look on his face, "What's a 'Ned'?"

At the billionaire's question, Parker looked at him dumbfounded, "Ned's my best friend! Did Happy not tell you about him? Because I'm pretty sure I told Happy about him. Plus, Ned called Happy awhile ago."

Tony raised his eyebrows in question, "Why in the world would your best friend call Happy?"

Peter couldn't decide if the man sitting in front of him was mad or just asking a question, so he decided to just carry on normally, that is after he was handed his Mint Cookies and Cream milkshake, "It was back when I was chasing that Vulture guy. I asked Ned to call him, but I think Happy hung up."

"Right," Tony took a sip of his Diet Coke. "I'd apologize for that, but that really was more of Happy's fault."

The two continued to talk for another hour while they ate their food. After eating and paying the bill, they walked out to Tony's car and drove off. "Hey kid, we've got one last thing we need to do."

"Okay Mr. Stark!" The corners of Peter's lips turned upwards as Tony drove them both to the hospital to check on a certain someone's aunt.
