The Avengers Compound was in slight chaos, and only a select few had any idea why. It was a Tuesday afternoon and only minutes ago, Tony Stark had gotten a call from none other than Nick Fury. It was a frantic alert on a huge blast in the southern part of Queens that killed dozens of people and injured hundreds. It was an act of terrorism that the Avengers would need to handle.

Stark told Cap to assemble the Earth's Mightiest Heroes, while he himself got on the phone with Pepper Potts, "Pepper, don't be mad at me, but I need you to find Happy and drive down to Peter's school, it's an emergency."

"Wha-why-what for?" She was having trouble processing the entire conversation because of the speed Tony was talking at.

"Take Happy and pick up Peter, they're probably evacuating from school now. Something happened in Queens and the Avengers need to take care of it."

"Oh okay," Pepper moved the phone away from her face. "Happy! We need to get Peter from school!" Potts went back to her phone, "We're on our way," and hung up.

Tony got back to work, meaning putting on his suit of iron, then joined with the other Avengers.

"Mind telling us what we're doing now, Stark?" Falcon said, slightly annoyed.

"S.H.E.I.L.D. says we've gotta check out some explosion in Queens," Iron Man and the rest of the Avengers all traveled to the location. Half of what they could see was fire and smoke but it seemed as if the flames were dying down.

"What could've happened here?" Steve looked to Natasha who gave him the same puzzled look he had.

There was no one in sight and the Avengers did what the could to help kill the flames, but were interrupted when there was an echoing boom further north.

"You guys," Clint slid the arrow he had pulled out back into the quiver. "I think we need to move further north to see what's causing this." Everyone agreed with Hawkeye for once in his life.

They all started moving north when Tony was suddenly was interrupted by F.R.I.D.A.Y.'S voice, "Incoming call from Pepper Potts."

"Pepper, what is it?" Stark said, slightly annoyed that this stressful situation was interrupted, but not much, knowing that it was Pepper he was talking to.

"We came to pick up Peter, but he's not here," there was a sense of worry in her voice. "We found his friend, Ned, he said that Peter left as soon as the school heard of what'd happen. I'm worried about him Tony."

"Oh god," Tony knew exactly where Parker was going, straight towards the danger. "Alright, you guys should head black to the compound now, I'll take care of the kid." Tony hung up and let out an exasperated sigh as he went to deal with the kid of a superhero.

Peter sat in his Physics class. It wasn't and overly exciting day. He'd been playing it low lately, not wanting to drag too much attention to himself, there was still murmurs and whispers about he and Flash's fight.

Just as class was nearing over, there was a tone from the overhead com system and Mr. Morita's voice could be heard, "Pardon the interruption, but as of now we will be having a whole school evacuation. Everything is fine, we're just leaving to be sure," he tried reassuring the entire student body. "So please calmly make your way to the front of the school. Parents and buses have already been called to pick you up." (Is it said I have multiple experiences with whole school evacuations?)

Peter's mind was on overload, he couldn't imagine what was happening that was causing an all school evacuation. He looked over at Ned, whom he was partnered with on a project, who had a similar look on his face. "Hey Peter," Ned spoke to his best friend, though he was looking out the window. "Do you think aliens are invading Earth?"

That one stupid questing knocked Parker out of his hypnotic-like state, "What? No way! If they were, Mr. Morita probably would've been too busy to excuse us from school." Peter couldn't help but laugh at his friend. But Ned may have had a point, aliens had come to New York before, and even the Avengers had trouble taking care of that issue. Speaking of... "Hey Ned, I think I'm gonna go see what happened."

Peter stood up from his seat, leaving behind his friend as he dodged through people to try and find somewhere to put on his spider suit.

As soon as the kid was suited up, he was out of there and swinging down the streets of Queens to where his Spidey Senses were directing him.

I'm sorry, I know it's super short, and super late, but I'm still recovering. I'm trying to make them longer, I promise!
