The two walked into a living room when they got out the elevator. Inside was a giant flatscreen playing the movie, Jurassic Park, a coffee table filled with bowls of chips, and a couch that sat the majority of the Avengers.

Peter couldn't help but find himself in slight shock, the World's Mightiest Heroes, sitting and watching a movie.

"Oh Steve," Clint was the first one to notice Steve Roger's and Peter Parker's appearance. He shoved a handful of popcorn in his mouth, "You're back early. Hey who's the kid?"

"This is-" he looked over at Peter. "Hey, I never actually caught your name, did I? Sorry about that."

"Oh right uh, I'm Peter... Parker," he awkwardly waved at all of the Avengers.

"Wait a minute," the one and only Tony Stark walked in with a freshly popped bucket of popcorn. He quickly walked over when he saw that Peter happened to be in the same room, "Oh my god. Happy just called me and told me what happened. I'm so sorry, kid."

"Hey, Mr. Stark," Peter looked down at his feet, trying not to embarrass himself by the tears that were being brought to his eyes.

Fortunately for the boy, Steve intervened, "Hold on a second, you two know each other?"

"Yeah," Tony childishly smiled. "This is Sp-" Tony Stark received a quick jab in the side from Peter's elbow, who had become accustom to keeping his identity a secret. Immediately understanding what Peter was trying to say, Stark quickly changed up his sentence, "I met him awhile back when I was helping out in Queens. Don't you remember that Peter, I had to repair a boat that'd been split in two for some odd reason, risking hundreds of lives." He tried cheering up Peter with a little irony, but the poor kid didn't find it at all funny, especially considering his circumstance.

Sensing Tony's big mistake in this situation, not even knowing what happened, one of the only two girls stood up, "Hi Peter, my name's Natasha." Nat stuck out her hand to shake Peter's, who did accept it. "So what're you doing here?"

"Um, there was a fire," the boy looked down at his feet. "And uh, now I've got nowhere else to live."

"I'm sorry Peter," she put her hands on both of his shoulders. "Hey, I'm pretty sure there's a room open next to Vision's. You can stay there as long as you need to." The two of them looked over at Vision who was sitting next to Wanda, nodding, both very focused on Jurassic Park. "Great! You must be pretty tired, want me to show you to your room?" Peter nodded, allowing Natasha to lead him away from the group, but not before she shot Tony a deadly glare.

The two walked into Peter's new room when the door slid open and FRIDAY greeted them both. For a moment, the boy completely forgot his gloomy mood and replaced it with excitement at seeing the room he'd get to stay in. There was a large queen sized bed, already an upgrade from his old room. A flat screen that was just a bit smaller than the one in the living room was in there too, as well as two bedside tables and a closet. "Wow... I get to sleep in here?" Peter look over for a confirmation from Nat.

"Yep, it's yours!" She smiled at the 15 year old's pure excitement. She did admit, this kid was pretty cute, she didn't mind him staying with the Avengers at all.

"Thank you so much! This place is so cool!" He jumped onto the bed, immediately feeling all the stress that he was holding in be released.

After the time Nat left, Peter managed to fully calm himself down. There had been a bit of crying and screaming into his pillow, but that eventually died down by nine. Now he was just scrolling through the pictures on his phone, or at least until he was interrupted by a knock on his door that was soon after opened. Tony sat on the bed next to Peter, "Hey kid, how ya doing?"

The boy shrugged, not fully understanding how he was feeling himself, "Better I guess." He still couldn't get Aunt May off his mind, but he was more at ease knowing that she was alive and would be recovering soon. "Right now I just miss her, a lot actually. I probably looked pretty pathetic back there."

Tony scoffed, "Pfft, are you kidding me? You're the bravest kid I know and you're only 14-"

"I'm 15 Mr. Stark," Peter interrupted.

"Right," the billionaire ignored his correction. "Anyways, you've been through more than I could ever imagine. And to be honest you're a hell of a lot stronger than me, because you're not afraid of anything, not even crying a bit." Tony wrapped his arm around the kid, pulling him into a side hug.

"Thanks Mr. Stark," Peter tried to say before he was interrupted by a yawn. "I think I might go to sleep now though."

"Alright," Tony got up off the bed and went to the door. "Cya in the morning Underoos."

Before falling asleep, Peter quickly pulled off his jeans, leaving him in just a pair of boxers and one of his classic science pun shirts. Soon after that, he drifted off to sleep.

I'm trying to find a good post schedule that will work well with how I write. I'm think at the most will be every other day, but if not that, at least twice a week!
