"I'm sorry."

"Why are you apologizing?" I don't see why you need to apologize.

"Blanche is my responsibility and I let her do something she shouldn't have." Howard lowered his head even more.

"I'm sorry."

As I rubbed the back of my neck, I can feel a headache already coming.

"...Would you stop saying sorry?" Before I turned my back on him, I stopped on the heel of my boots to say this.

"And keep that bird of your's silent otherwise the London guards will hear us."

The last thing we need.

Getting caught by the guards before we even get inside London.

"I will." Mumbling to shush his bird, I focused on moving forward.

Knowing the flower Howard was seeking.

In the depths of lower London, was a small place.

'The Sanctuary.' One of the few signs of nature within the Mechanical City of London.

It's one of the few places Sylva chooses to pick that flower.

'I still don't understand why she chose it.'

Primulas.

In other words...

Primroses.

Primroses are hard to find.

Because they can only grow in places you wouldn't expect.

Railroad tracks.

Shaded hedges.

Or better yet.

The forest Sylva resides in.
