...For the first time.

Sylva made me struggle on the spot.

However the words she said sounded within the depths of my mind.

"Choice."

In the end, Sylva was the only one to dangle my chances before me.

Like I have to earn it by starting from the dirt bottom.

It didn't come from a weak promise with little chances of being fulfilled.

It was none other than a trademark deal set from my own stupid actions.

"Then tell me more about this so called challenge you mentioned earlier." If she was intending to give me a choice, then it's obvious that Sylva...was giving me another option.

"Unless you're a chicken, forest witch." I challenged her with a smirk.

"Hmph, don't get so cocky brat." Sylva scoffed back, "You're a hundred years too early to challenge me."

"Are you calling yourself old, memeré(grandma)?" I heard it once back when I was still serving Master William.

One of the maids that came from France called one of the older maids that.

I remembered how upset she sounded, yelling to the younger maid that she's not some old grandma.

"...you trying to pick a fight?"
