Chapter 39

Justin P.O.V

We pulled up outside the hospital and i immediately got out before the car had completely came to a halt. Giorgia and Ryan were a little upset and Chaz had just locked the car. All of us at once, began running towards the automatic doors to the emergency part of the hospital

"WHERE'S NATALIE!!"

the receptionist looked up startled and quite frightened at my outburst

'I'm sorry sir, but i don't know who Natalie is'

Chaz stepped in front and spoke calmly whilst Ryan held my shoulder and Giorgia rested her head onto my arm, crying quietly

'Natalie Ward, she's been admitted to the emergency department? An ambulance was called for her'

She seemed relieved that Chaz spoke the way he did. Clicking and typing, she searched for Natalie's details on the registration documents. Chaz drummed his fingers on the desk impatiently until she smiled

'Natalie Ward, aged 17, born on the 28th of December?'

We all nodded quickly in unison

'Floor 3 in room 24'

I leant over the desk and hugged her

"Thankyou so much!!"

And with that, i sprinted down the corridor and up the stairs that led to her floor, the others right behind me. It was quiet in the hospital except the faint sirens of the ambulances outside

'Justin!'

I turned my head to see the others pointing down a hall way

'Rooms 16-30 are this way'

We all began running as we scanned the numbers on the wooden doors. My eyes lit up when we reached room 20

'Guys we need to stop running now, we'll be kicked out'

We followed Giorgias instruction and kept our pace slow and our voices quiet. Outside of room 24, was Kenny and Scooter. Feeling an instant rush of excitement and emotion, i ran towards them and tried to get into her room. Kenny pushed me back and kept hold of me

'Justin stop it!!'

I struggled and pushed myself to get out of his reach

"I have to see her! I need to make sure she's okay!!"

Scooter pulled me down from Kennys reach as a doctor walked towards us

'Are you the legal guardians of Natalie Ward?'

We all looked up at Scooter who held out his hand

'I'm her guardian for the time being doctor, she's in our care for a couple of months'

He shook his hand and looked at me

'Touring with Mr Bieber i presume?'

He shot me a small smile and i shook his hand

'Daughters a big fan'

I smiled politely

"Are we able to go in yet doctor?"

He was holding a clipboard with a few notes pinned to the top of the sheet

'I'm afraid not Mr Bieber, Miss Ward needs her rest and by the way you were acting just to see her, i can tell it would be hard for you to stay calm in the situation she's in'

Situation? The hell's he talking about?

"Situation?"

The doctor frowned at me and looked up at Scooter and Kenny

'I'll..leave you all to it. Give you chance to explain'

Scooter nodded as the doctor walked back down the hall. All 4 of us turned to Scooter and Kenny as they glanced at us to sit down on the bench. It was quiet..too quiet

"So? What's the situation?"

Scooter sighed and held his hands together in front of him, looking down at his feet

'In the car, Natalie bumped her head on the door frame trying to get in. Kenny got her comfortable beside him but she began burning up in the back and her eyes were shutting slightly..'

We all stared at him, none of us breathing a word. Kenny rubbed Scooters back and he replaced him

'When i was in the back of the car with her, i was trying to speak to her whilst trying to calm you down too Justin'

It was still silent

'Eventually her eyes did shut and she blacked out, but on our way back her skin became pale and cold and i was starting to panic. Scooter was driving faster to get home and we hit a bump..'

My eyes widened

'She began coughing blood all over herself as i had to sit her up incase she choked. A large bruise had formed on her head where she hit it and her eyelids were fluttering constantly, however her eyeballs were rolling, so they were completely white'

I felt a large pain in my stomach like i was going to vomit, i could hear G whimpering slightly

'Scooter called the ambulance whilst we were driving and they caught up to us as we stopped. They got her out of the van and connected her to an oxygen bag in the ambulance. Scooter and I stayed with her whilst security drove the van back, to also let the others know what was happening..'

We all stared at him, our mouths open slightly and our eyes flooding with tears. I caught several glimpses of tears falling from the others cheeks as mine violently rushed down my face. It became deadly silent until Giorgia spoke softly

'Is she...yano..?'

Ryan cuddled her tightly and rocked her gently

'No sweetie, she's still with us'

A wave of relief ran thru all of us as we sighed in happiness

*9:49pm*

Chaz got up to get a drink and the others were talking about Natalie and the doctors notes. I however, was still sat in the same position staring at the floor with my hands covering half of my face

I felt a soft hand touch my cheek, i glanced to my right to see Giorgia wiping away a fall tear. I looked at her and within 5 seconds, i'd already broken down into her arms

'Shhhh, it's okay Justin'

I sobbed hard and Ryan rubbed my back. This was all my fault. If only i'd of stayed with her, she wouldn't of gone out on her own and we wouldn't be at the hospital right now. Suddenly, Ryan stopped rubbing as everyone got quiet and stood up, sitting up to face him i stared at the doctor

'One of you may go in now'

Everyone stared at me with watery eyes, i looked at G and she smiled lightly

'You go'

I hugged her tight and stood up shaking nervously. He opened the door and we both slipped thru, it was a little dark in here

'Are you ready?'

I breathed out a long sigh and nodded. He closed the door slowly and i began shaking again, staring at my feet as i walked in further. The doctor stood in front of me and pulled the long curtain open, making a screeching sound as the hooks pulled on the rail. Looking up, my eyes widened only to be blurred by flowing tears. Whimpering slightly, i cried

"Oh my god..."
