I was in the studio with the crew when i heard one of my songs being played close by. The guys were sorting paperwork so i slipped out for a few minutes. I looked into the room next door and there was the same boy from earlier with a guitar in his hand staring at a young blonde girl playing the piano. He signalled for me to come in but to be quiet. I sat next to him as she stopped playing. She hadn't noticed me yet. I turned out the lights.

'Nolan? What are you doing?'

'It's ok, just stay where you are and i'll put the spotlight on so you can focus'

I turned the spotlight on and there she was. She looked so beautiful. I came and sat back down next to Nolan.

"Hey bro"

'Hi, as you can guess i'm Nolan'

I shook his hand and he began whispering to me. Telling me about how Selena had pushed her in the water fountain. The beautiful girl playing the piano was called Natalie. Natalie? Where had i heard that name from?

"Did she recently enter a competition?"

'Yeah, she entered it and she won. She's coming to meet you on saturday. She's scared to come and see you because of the embarrassing moment earlier on'

The radio competition!! Thats where i remembered her from! I heard her sighing. She was obviously still upset about earlier.

'Nolan i cant do this, i cant go and meet my idol in 5 days and have him remember me as the girl who fell in the water fountain? When Selena came over, he forgot about me. She is so perfect. How could i ever get to her level? Its impossible. Did you see the way he looked at her?'

I swallowed hard trying to get rid of the lump in my throat. I could hear the pain in her voice.

'All my life, every night...i've dreamed of him looking at me. Exactly the way he looked at her..'

She whispered and wiped away a small tear as it rolled down her cheek. Nolan looked at me and told her to carry on playing and he'd play too. She began to play and he handed me the guitar.

'There's nothing like us, there's nothing like you and me..together thru the storm. There's nothing like us, there's nothing like you and me..together..ohh'

I knew this was my turn. I strummed the guitar and began playing softly.

"I gave you everything baby, everything i had to give. Girl why would you push me away..yeah. Lost in confusion, like an illusion. You know i'm used to making your day."

She stopped playing and turned to me. I slowly walked towards her still playing. She was amazed. I put down the guitar and sat beside her on the stool. I carried on playing. I looked at her as a cue to sing, and she did.

'But that is the past now, we didn't last now. I guess that this is meant to be, yeah. Tell me was it worth it, we were so perfect. But baby i just want you to see.'

Her voice was perfect. We began singing the rest of the song together. It was beautiful. The very last few chords were left to play and i stopped. She smiled at me and placed her hands on the keys, finishing the song for me. It was perfect. She looked up at me and smiled the sweetest smile i'd ever seen.

'Hi Justin'

"Hey sweetheart"

'I'm sorry about earlier, i-'

"Shh, forget about that. I should've came after you. I'm sorry that had to happen to you, nothing like that should ever happen to someone like you. I wont let that happen again, i promise."

She stared at her lap as she played with her fingers. I placed one finger under her chin and gazed into her beautiful blue eyes as the spotlight made her eyes shine. She gave me a warm smile as i leant in and brushed my lips against hers.

'Natt! Justin!'

Nolan was shouting over to us as the door opened. We turned as the light flickered on.

'Justin? Natalie?'
