Young and free spirited Anna "Annie" Summerall is booming on social media and has been only getting more popular. Led by jealousy and hate for the girl, an anonymous hacker dedicates his life to ruining Annie. And she must play the game to save her...
"Mrs. Summerall, I will ask you this one more time and you will tell the truth: Did you start the school fire?" I can't believe this is happening to me. I'm getting accused for starting the school fire, and the school is bringing me to court for it. This is all Harland's fault. I don't know how, but I just know it is. I explain to the judge that, yes, I was in the computer room, but there were no matches or anything flammable. He scratched his beard. Then he leaned back and asked why I was in the computer room. So I told the judge everything. I told him how I posted a video of Harland falling into the water while fishing on Youtube and we got into a fight and the nosebleed and how she disappeared and how I was just trying to track her down. I asked if he would like evidence, but he said there was no need. "I want to hear more about this Youtube video." Gulp. And that's how I got sent home, with a fine of 250 dollars, for invasion of privacy and being an accomplice to a disappearance. My parents were furious even though I told them about two hundred times that I didn't do it. It was horrible. My day was getting worse by the hour, because after I locked myself in my room, Dad came running in. "Get down here quick!" he screamed, tears in his eyes. I didn't move until he said those last words:"You're mother is having a heart attack!"
I bolted down the stairs as fast as I could. And in all of the panic I saw a blur. A person. He was standing on the neighbors lawn staring at us. He wasn't moving. Wasn't talking. Just standing there. I looked down at Mom and then looked up again. It was gone. I stopped thinking about it immediately because my damn mother is about to die! The ambulance finally came. I helped the men pick up Mom and carry her into the ambulance. And when they drove off I jumped in bed, crying myself to sleep. This really was the worst day ever. And no one can change that.
Riiiiing! The bell for rang. Computer class was over. I started walking to my next class, thinking about what happened last night. The screaming and the yelling and the fighting. I tried to calm myself down and took out my phone, going on my Snapchat account. And despite all that happened, I smiled: 900 followers. And the views were incredible. I took out my headphones and started walking off to class. Right as I rounded the corner, I heard my phone buzz with the notification sound. I scrolled down to messages and stopped dead in my tracks....

I quickly tried to see who left this disturbing message, but the name was blocked out for some odd reason. I blocked the person and turned off my phone. Time for Gym. My Gym teacher, Mr. Fellience, said that today we were doing a jog around the football field. That is EXACTLY what I need. A nice relaxing jog should help me take my mind off of all the weird things that happened today. But it didn't. I kept on thinking about that text message and as we were rounding the woods, I took out my phone to show my BFF, Nina. "It's probably just some creep who got you're number. Don't worry about it." And that's what I did. We were way behind the teachers, so I pulled out my phone and put on some music. That's when it happened again: The notification sound rang again. And the same message popped up. Nina looked just as confused as I did. "I thought you said you blocked him." she said. "I did.."
AAAAAAAGHHH! I heard a loud scream of a girl and put my phone away. Everyone was shrieking and the Gym teachers were yelling on their cell phones and blowing there whistles. Me and Nina ran towards the woods were the screams were coming from. When we got there, we pushed through the crowd and saw Stephanie Roans sitting on the floor, panting, and pointing at the woods. I noticed blood all over her shirt and she was spitting out blood as she talked. "What's wrong?" the Gym teacher asked. She just stuttered and then started to cry. The teachers said class was over and we all went inside. I took out my phone and noticed that the time was set to 3:59! Somebody must have been messing with my phone. And somebody was messing with Stephanie's head as well......
