"OK sweetheart, just tell me where you found him." The police officer showed up and asked to see Dzosh's body. "Over here. He's right over her-" I looked around and saw that Dzosh's body was not in the pool where it was last. The officer shook her head. "Annie, I'm sorry, but you're going to have to come with m-" The officer froze, her eyes widening. She just stood there before collapsing to the ground. I saw there were dozens of tiny needles in her back. I heard a meanicing laugh and looked up. Dzosh was sitting on the wall, soaking wet, with something in his hand. It looked like the needle gun Dad bought while working on expanding the shed. "H-how?" Dzosh pretended to blow smoke from the needle gun flipped it around before jumping down and pointing the gun at me. "Oh, Annie! So predictable! Stubborn and weak, just like the rest of you're race!" I heard another crazy laugh behind me. It was Mr. Wyatt. His face was covered with blood and syringes stuck all over his body. There was glass in his cheek and his right eye was swollen shut. He had a pocket knife. Dzosh motioned him to kill me and disappeared, once again, into the dark. Mr. Wyatt menacingly walked towards me, flipping his knife around.

"Let's see you get you're way out of this one you little retard!" He grabbed my throat and lifted me up, pressing me against the wall. I tried to kick free, but he was too strong. He slowly raised the knife up to my neck. He lowered it down to my wrist and began making small slices. I kicked him off of me with my feet and ran into the shed. Mr. Wyatt just kept following me. "Do you know what it's like Annie? Coming home everyday, knowing that more money is going to come out of you're pocket? Knowing that you can't pay you're taxes? Dzosh said he could make all of that go away! Am I insane? INSANE TO WANT SOME PEACE AND QUIET!" He started to hit his head against the wall. "SOME DAMN PEACE AND QUIET!" I crept out of the shed and sprinted towards the gate, Mr. Wyatt right behind me. I felt him grab on to my foot and stab me multiple times in the leg. "WHY THE HELL WON'T YOU DIE?" He furiously stabbed me repetitively. My vision was getting blurrier. I was fainting from blood loss. And I felt as though a million baseball bats hit me in the leg. In a last attempt to save myself, I reached into my pocket and pulled out me and Harland's BFF bracelet that I took from Noah's locker. "Sorry Harland," I whispered as I swung the bracelet at Mr. Wyatt. Wyatt stopped stabbing me and began cussing while rubbing his eye. I crawled behind him and took off my metal necklace that my grandpa had given me.

I wrapped the necklace around Mr. Wyatt's neck and began to strangle him as he clawed at his neck, trying to stop me. I just pulled and pulled. Mr. Wyatt fell to the floor. I heard a noise and felt a sharp pain in my shoulder. I pulled out a needle and saw Dzosh was behind me holding his needle gun. He wasn't smiling, though. He looked frustrated and above all else, crazy. I used my one good leg to stand up and held my arms out. "COME ON!" I screamed at him, "SHOOT ME! SHOOT ME!" Dzosh pulled the trigger on the needle gun. Click. Nothing happened. He chuckled nervously and pulled the trigger again. Click. Click. Click. He threw the gun to the floor and stared me right in the eyes. "THIS ENDS TONIGHT!" Dzosh began walking towards me before he froze. He put his hands around his neck and started gasping for breath. Someone, or something, was choking him. But there was nobody there. Dzosh fell to the floor and started refilling his lungs with air.

It was Harland. She was standing there, smiling. "Annie," she said, "Run. RUN! RUN ANNIE, RUN!" Just as Dzosh began to stand up, Harland disappeared. I crawled and the gate opened up by itself, letting me pass through before closing on Dzosh. I crawled as far as I could and sat down under a streetlight, my back against the wall.

This was the end. Thank you, Harland.
