- Rin's POV -
My pointed ears flinched slightly as my eyes shot open.
"Rin, wake up, you sleep like a log!" Yukio was protesting in my face, as he shook me slightly, he was already dressed in his school uniform.
"Huh...wha...oh shoot!" I rose my head up, I went to jump out of bed but my feet were still tangled in the bed sheets and my face met the floor, with a loud thud, "Ow!!"
Yukio shook his head in disappointment, and grabbed my arm forcefully to help me up to my bare feet.
"Done being a klutz..?" Yukio bared a sarcastic smirk on his face, with his intense aqua eyes staring into my azure ones.
I pushed away his hand and rubbed my nose which I had hit on the floor.
"Pfft, you should see yourself without your second set of eyes, you four eyed, mole face..!" I chuckled, giving a grin which caused my long demonic fangs to poke out as I swiped his glasses off his face.
Yukio was clearly caught off guard, he squinted trying to see, "Rin give those back I need them!!"
"Tough luck, little bro!" I laughed, then shoved the glasses into Yukio's face.
Yukio swiped them back and quickly pushed them back on so he could see, once his vision was completely adjusted he gave me a hard smack on the head.
A yelp escaped my mouth and I rubbed the aching spot where I had just been hit.
Yukio gave an awkward smirk, before turning away, "Again...you're gonna be late.."
"Oh, yeah, right!" I dashed past Yukio, swiping my True Cross Academy uniform coat from off a rack, I slipped off my shirt which read the words Thank You! Then hurriedly slid on my white dress shirt.
'Uh tie....Where did I put the tie...' I thought, whipping my head around as I tried to pinpoint where it was.
I rummaged through my closet and pulled out the tie, I didn't even bother putting it on, I slipped on my shoes and ran out the door. I would put my tie on when I actually got to the school, since I'm not wanting to be late.
A couple of minutes later....
It didn't take that long, I managed to be right on time for class which was great. I wasn't sure why I was getting this odd feeling, as if there was a gloomy aura in the air, I just shrugged it off, assuming it had something to do with the Coal Tars which were literally everywhere.
'This is already boring....!' I complained in my head, rolling my half opened eyes as I forced myself to pay attention.
- Kaneki's POV -
My grey eye, that wasn't covered by a white eyepatch scanned the room, I was listening to the teacher known as Yukio Okumura teach class. I of course sat at the back, because I didn't want anybody to notice me, I was different by a landslide so why should I bother. I'm not even here because I want to anyways...
"Alright class, time for a break, I'll be back momentarily..." Yukio announced, getting up out of his seat as his glasses gave off a glare which clouded his eyes.
I let out a silent sigh, turning away to face the stained glass windows which had the sun rays beaming through them. I found that satisfying and sort of pretty in a way so I continued to stare at it.
'I really want to go back to Anteiku...I'm sorry Yoshimura...I was so disobedient and now I'm in this mess....the there's Touka...Hinami too.....even Hide..' I thought, a shadow clouded my face as I looked down in shame, my dull white hair dropping over my gaze.
