I had talked to Bree, telling her all about Roman and I and she commented delightedly. She told me to tell Claire she was coming over tonight to help me dress. I agreed and Claire was so overjoyed I had a date she agreed immediately to Bree helping me get ready tonight.

Once we had our food, I gazed over to the table Bree was going to sit down at with Jason and Winter and my mind immediately recalled our strange conversation this morning. I realized I didn't want to sit there still, especially since Winter had seemed to scare Jason so I politely declined eating with Bree and told her I'd see her tonight.

I went and sat at the table I usually sat with Roman and began eating. When I had almost finished, I looked around in confusion, normally Roman would've been there by now.

I could hear people laughing about how I was just Roman's new toy that got old and that "I faded fast". I felt tears burn my eyes, Roman wasn't like that though!

I stood, going to empty my tray and tripped over someone's foot that they had stuck out. I dropped the tray, scattering leftover food everywhere and slammed my face into the trash can. I managed to keep from sinking to the floor as a crowd of people laughed and I could hear Bree and Jason calling my name and yelling at others to "knock it off!"

I steadied myself and raced from the cafeteria, my face burning in embarrassment and pulsing with pain where a bruise was forming on my cheek from the trash can.

Tears streamed down my face and I didn't realize where I was going, I was just running aimlessly down hallways until I heard voices further on in a hallway I had been racing down. The voices made me pause and I realized I recognized one, Roman. I quickly scrubbed the tears away from my eyes and face and traveled further down, able to see two figures.

The one, obviously Roman, was on the phone and another, a female, was slowly approaching him. When Roman hung up, the female was right there by him, he turned and tugged her into his arms.

I watched with my heart aching slightly as he twisted his fingers into her hair, held her to his body and bent his head, almost about to-

"Roman?" I asked, my voice shook and I felt new tears spring to my eyes. Jason had been right. Roman wasn't who I thought he'd been.

Roman jerked and ripped himself away from the girl with curly brown hair and tossed her aside. My eyes followed the girl and realized her as Eva Watters. The bitch who had said shit about me the other day in Ceramics.

"Rori.. I.. dammit," Roman muttered, his face twisted in pain as he took in my own features. He went to move towards me, but I took a step back.

"No, Jason was right... I don't know you," I said, hurt making my voice crack. Tears overflowed and I could see Eva smirking behind him.

"Rori, I don't care about her!" Roman snapped, his eyes still full of regret, but his face contorted into anger.

Eva gasped behind him, but he snarled at her, making her back away. "You shouldn't have come here."

He glanced back at me, but I just shook my head. "The date's off Roman, I should've known better than to believe someone like you would have any interest in me."

I turned then and walked away, ignoring his calls. I felt him approach, hearing Eva yell at someone else who'd appeared and was apparently taking her away, but I held up my hand, signaling Roman needed to go away.

He didn't though, instead he grabbed my arm softly and turned me to face him. He gently tilted my head and his bright blue eyes met my own. They were filled with sadness as he murmured, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean...for that to happen. Please, Rori."
