Bath time.

Perrie

It's the girls forth day with us and we are going to try bath time with Taylor. We tried the other day but she refused and got really upset so we just left her. But tonight we've decided she has to do it, even if we need to force her.

Jade had just put Charlie and the younger girls to bed so now it was just me and Taylor downstairs. "Tay?" I asked, she hummed in response. "Will you come upstairs, we need you to take a bath." I said, she looked at me with a look of horror. "No..." she whispered. "Taylor, darling come in." Jade said and tapped her shoulders but she jumped and ran to the corner. She has never done that before, me and Jade looked at each other confused. "Taylor, babe. You need to take a bath." Jade whispered, Taylor looked at her again, she had tears in her eyes and I could see her hands were shaking. "I-I-I-I don't want to." She stuttered. "Tay, you need to. Me and Jade shower daily, Charlie and Ava have had baths tonight, now it's your turn." I did and slowly walked towards her. "Stop!" She screamed and held out her hand in front of me so I wouldn't come any closer. "I'm not going in the bath." She screamed. "Taylor, this isn't a matter to argue! You need a bath, or shower!" Jade shouted back. She looked at us and shook her head. She fell to the floor she pulled her knees to her chest and started sobbing. Me and Jade exchanged looks. "Taylor, babe, what's wrong?" I asked and walked to her. "I-I-I don't like bathing." She cried. "Taylor, you don't need to lie to us, what are you hiding?"I asked again and sat next to her, Jade came and sat on her other side. She rubbed her back gently. "My daddy used to rape me when I was in the bath." She cried and turned to Jade, she clung to her. Jade looked at me knowing full well the same thing happened with me. "Taylor, no one is ever going to hurt you in this house." I said and rubbed her back, I blinked away my tears. Jade picked her up and carried her upstairs. She was still crying, Jade took her into the bathroom whilst I contained myself in the bedroom. I sat on he bed and just cried.

After 10 minutes of crying, I got up and went to join Taylor and Jade in the bathroom, Taylor had stopped crying but was still sat on Jades knee. "Are you okay Taylor?" I asked her. She nodded and hugged me. Jade mouthed, 'Are you okay?' To me and I nodded. "Hey Taylor, why don't we make your bath blue?!" I exclaimed after seeing the bath jelly in the cupboard. "How?" She asked, Jade took down the bath jelly and showed it to her. "That's cool." She smiled. "You want it then?" I asked, she nodded.

Thankfully Taylor's bath time went smoothly after that, we added lots of toys for her to play with so she felt safer and happier. She felt slightly self-conscious getting out and preferred only one of us being in the bathroom. I left her and Jade to sort her out. I went to check on Charlie and the younger girls.

I opened Charlie's door slightly and saw him snoring gently in bed, he looked so cute, his covers were down slightly so I walked up to him and tucked him in more. I kissed his head and walked back out. I went to check on the girls, I walked in and saw both of my beautiful babies sleeping softly. It must be hard for them not having our full attention but hopefully things will get better soon. I kissed their heads and walked out. Ava was sleeping in our room because not only did we have no more rooms, she was still quite young and we personally didn't think she was old enough to be by herself especially with her past.

I walked into our room and saw Jade with Taylor sitting on our bed. "Come on then T, bed." I held out my hand and she followed me to her bedroom, she climbed into bed. "You got a pull-up on baby?" I asked and pulled the sheets over her, her cheeks blushed but she nodded. "Don't be embarrassed sweetheart, we'll help you." I said again and gave her a quick cuddle. "Thank you Perrie." She smiled. "It's okay babe, now sleep." I smiled and walked out.

I went to join Jade again, she was already in bed scrolling through her phone. "Everything okay babe?" She asked looking up at me, when I walked out of the bathroom after brushing my teeth. I nodded and joined her in bed. I nodded softly and cuddled up to her. "Me and Taylor heard you crying earlier." She sighed, I looked up at her. "Are you sure you're okay?" She asked again looking into my eyes. this time I shrugged. "It's hard, I know exactly how she is feeling." I sighed. "Yeah I know baby, but we will help her." She smiled. "Yeah we will." I smiled back. "Let's go to sleep, we need to go shopping tomorrow." She sighed I nodded and settled into her more.
