"You don't have a girlfriend," Ricky says. "Mae doesn't like you."

"I do too," Dicky says.

"Then just tell me who she is!"

"Do you really wanna know?" Dicky asks.

"Yes!"

"Fine! Ella is my girlfriend. She asked me out and I said yes. Well...I asked her out first and she thought it would be weird, but then she came around."

"WHAT?!" I yell.

Dicky and Ricky stare at me in shock.

"I think now is the right time to say it..." Ricky says.

"Right. Oops.".

Dawn's POV

I hear Nicky and the guys in an argument on the stairs and groan, getting up to check it out.

"Must I do everything myself?" I mumble.

"What did you just say?!" Nicky squeaks. He staring right at Dicky.

"What did I say? I don't remember."

"What's going on here?!" I say.

"Did you say you're dating Ella??!" Nicky's breathing faster now.

"Calm down. I doubt that's true. Dicky's just trying to get to you."

"Are you calling me a liar too?!" Dicky says.

I roll my eyes. "I can't take this. I'm out."

"No one asked you to be in in the first place," Ricky says.

I glare at him. "How dare you?"

"Guys. Can we please stop fighting?" Dicky says. "We're quads for goodness sakes. There aren't a lot of quads out there today and we need to appreciate that we're one of a few. We may have our differences, but that's what makes as stronger together. And Dawn. Just admit it. You care about Nicky. That's why you threw that party. Not so everyone could see him kiss Ella. Well partially. But because you wanted to see if Ella actually liked Nicky so his feelings wouldn't be hurt. You got a little too determined and everything backfired, so you need to own up to your mistakes and apologize. Ricky. You don't hate Dawn. You two are just really competitive and I respect that, but try working together to defeat other know-it-alls. Not against. Nicky, if Dawn apologizes, you need to forgive her and accept that everyone makes mistakes, and as for Ella...let her make her own choices. It's her life. Not yours."

The three of us stare at Dicky in shock, saying nothing at first. Then I decide to speak up.

"Wow Dicky...I didn't expect something like that to come out of your...tiny brain. But I guess you're right." I turn to Nicky. "I'm so sorry for messing things up with you and-"

"No. It's fine. You were looking out for me. I'm sorry for getting mad about it and taking it out on you. Even though it was kinda your fault."
