In The NICK of time

Chapter 6

   I blinked my eyes rapidly trying to clear my vision. I look to the left of me and arm is in a cast. I try to move my arm but fail. I then notice the ugly blue hospital gown, that I have on. I touch the button to call the nurse. An older lady voice comes through the speaker. "yes how can I help you." 'Um yeah, I tell her " can you um send in a nurse in here?" "I sure can ma'am is all the older woman said and then she fumbled with the speaker a bit before she hung up.

  Maybe 5 minutes later a sexy ass nurse comes walking in. Looking like ol girl Kelly from the show The Game. The only thing different about her was she was a little bit shorter and a whole lot thicker. Her ass sat on her back and curvy hips swayed as she walked. Good God she had me hot. White girl had me wanting to join the other team. "Hello, My name is Lynn and I'll be your nurse for today. Let me check your vitals is there anything I can get you? I shake my head no. She reaches up above the bed and grabs the blood pressure cuff and places around my right arm. Then she takes her purple stethoscope from around her neck and places it under the cuff. I wince at how cold the stethoscope is she looks up at me and I notice her cool green eyes.  I'm sorry and she quickly looks down. Minutes later she's done taking my vitals and is headed for the door. Um ..nurse can you push the phone closer. I need to make a call. Lynn pushes the phone over to me and winks." call me if you need anything else then she writes her extension on the board and walks out.

I pick up the phone and start to dial Keisha'swhile trying to recall last nights events in my head. Why can't I remember anything passed the club. Hell, it has to be the reason why I'm in here. My head began to hurt as I listen to Keisha voicemail. " yeah it's me leave a message. I quickly leave a message "Ke its Cris call me cousin I need to know you're ok. " I lay the phone on the table and look at the window still trying to recall what happened at the club. The machine above my bed beeps indicating that it's about to take my blood pressure.  As I close my eyes and brace my self for the cuff to squeeze my arm. I look at the board and I noticed that the date says March 8. What the fuck I've .... man....wait, I've been in the hospital 2 days where is Keisha why isn't she here? As soon as I asked that question a familiar voice says my name " Crystal can you hear me? I turn and look at her and nod my head yes.  Keisha...., I say I'm so glad you're okay. Good because I think you have some explaining to do Keisha said, and just like that my memory came back like a flood from the night at the club.  I know, I know this is what happened.
