~Gold's POV~
I grinned as I opened the scroll.
Today was the DAY!
I ran my talons down the musty old pages, spotting the dust flying off in flecks and coating my talons.
I made a disgusted face—
Did they EVER clean their scrolls?!
My wings quivered as I sneezed with a loud "ACHOO!"
Another RainWing looked over at me, blinking. Her scales were a calm cerulean blue.
She was rather pretty too, and her ears had three studs along the cartilage.
I could feel my face turning red and my wings fading to pink. I sunk down to the ground, hoping my body was hid from view. She didn't come over and I sighed with relief.
I opened the scroll again, my wings folding around me.
Interesting.
~Star's POV~
"Moon, I'm fine!" I protested, exasperated. She was fussing over me. I had just used my magic to heal my horrific face, and I couldn't help smirking at myself in the mirror.
My lover thumped my head with her wing, making me yelp.
"What was that for?!"
Moon gave no response, just a sniff. I sighed and licked her nose, spotting the pink blush spreading across her cheeks.
I stared at the wall, thinking. She made me feel important, but I knew I wasn't significant to anyone elses' lives.
But what if I could be? I could use my magic for something great.
What if I combined all the tribes?
Excluding the RainWings of course...
Nah, they would have to go.
If Moon prefers it, Gold may rule beside my queen and I.
The though made my wings shiver with happiness. Moon ruling the throne beside me?
I could get behind that..
