Moon jumped as a loud crash echoed through the forest.
Star blinked, then glanced at the other NightWing, who nodded.
"Teleport us to the origin of the sound!" Star commanded. Moon winced and braced herself, but there was no need. Green smoke swirled around them and the world felt like it was spinning. They were suddenly deeper in the forest. A pure white RainWing was laying in a broken bush, his limbs out at odd angles. Moon shrieked in terror. "GOLD!"
Star scowled slightly. "I can heal him."
Star waved his hand, and Gold opened his eyes, yelping, "What- who-"
Moon hugged Star tightly. "Ohmygoodnessthankyou-!" She shrieked. Gold flicked his ears jealously.
"Yeah. Alright. Whatever. Let's fly back." With that, Gold took to the air again and Star pursed his lips angrily.
Moon shrugged and followed, twitching her tail to signal for Star to follow.
The three made it back to Jade Mountain, where a dragon who looked almost identical to Mooncrosser was standing there. The NightWing had a large, sapphire necklace around her neck.
"Mother!" Moon shrieked, running to the NightWing and hugging her.
"My little Moon.." Her mother cooed. Moon smiled, turning to the two males who were watching curiously.
"This is my mother, Starseeker," Moon introduced. Star and Gold nodded their head respectfully.
"Well, I'll let you two catch up!" Star said to Moon and Starseeker, smiling. He spread his dark wings and took off, Moon watching him leave.
Gold flew off too, but toward his cave.
The RainWing grabbed a wickedly sharp dagger.
Nothing good was to come from him having the weapon..
