02- Making Up

~Alice's P.O.V~

I woke up to my phone's alarm, got out of my bed and ready for school.

I was thinking that maybe today is gonna be better! My parents weren't at home, they probably went to work early. I decided to walk to school, so I left a note on the counter for Chris. The warm wind made my hair fly in all the directions, so I tied it in a ponytail.

It took me like 15 minutes to arrive to school. I smiled and went in and headed to my locker. Suddenly, girls' whispers and screams were heard. I turned around to find Luke walking in the hallway. Soon, he started winking at some girls, and showing his white pearls to the others. I swear, this guy will make them faint, they act like he's some celebrity!

I ignored what was happening since I don't care and decided to avoid him for the rest of the day, more like the year. I thought about it for a minute 'Yupp, this year would be peaceful if I stay away of him, just like the other years'. I looked at my watch, there was 10 more minutes until the first class starts.

Steph literally ran to me. She hugged me and started to jump up and down like a kid who just got a new toy.

"Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god!!!!" She said full of excitement and happiness.

"What is it, Steph?" I asked.

"I can't believe he did this.. TO ME!!"

"What are you talking about?!"

"He's just so PERFECT!" She continued.

"Who?!?!"

"His eyes, his hair, his-"

"STEPHANY! WHO THE HECK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?" I screamed to shut her up.

She looked shocked, but her dreamy eyes soon came back and she replied.

"It's Luke!! He winked at me! It was adorable.."

"So you're happy because he winked at you?! Steph, he did that to EVERY FREAKING GIRL today!" I told her.

She looked at me and then smirked.

"He didn't wink at you, right?" She asked raising an eyebrow.

"No, he didn't. And I'm happy about that" I replied.

"Yeah, right.." She giggled.

I entered the class and found Luke sitting in the back, his earphones in his ears. I sat in the front, got my books out of my backback. I turned and jumped a little bit when I saw Luke sitting next to me grinning.

"Hey" He greeted.

"Hi"

"Mind if I sit next to you?"

"Like it would matter, you already did!"

"Okay"

The teacher, Mr. Irwin, came in and the bell rang. Mr. Irwin started explaining the lesson.

I saw a note next to my hand, I opened it and read.

'Hey, I'm bored :/ aren't you? -L-'

I looked at Luke and he smiled. Yupp, he wrote this. Since I was gonna die of boredom, I decided to write him a note back.

'I'm bored too! I want this class to end quickly :c'

'Me too :'('

We kept sending notes to each other, until we heard the bell. Luke and I grinned and walked out.

He went to his classroom while I went to mine. All I could think about was how nice he was when we were sending notes to each other. I felt guilty a little bit for being harsh on him a little bit. Maybe I should give him a chance. We could be good friends, right?

I thought about it for a few minutes and made my decision. It's not a bad idea, I'll give our friendship a shot. But before that, I have to dosomething I've never liked doing. Apologizing.

I couldn't wait for this class to end. I wanted to talk to him and get this guilt off my shoulders!

When I heard the bell, I quickly got my things and ran out of the classroom. I saw him walking in the hallway. I inhaled and headed to him. I finally spoke.

"Hey Luke''

"Oh, hi, is something wrong?" He asked concerned.

"No.. I mean yes, well.. I just wanted to apologise" I looked down.

"Apologise? For what?"

"Well, ever since your first day here, and I've been harsh on you and found you annoying. But when we talked, I got to know you more, and I regret judging you.. Can you please forgive me?"

He looked confused then smiled.

"It's okay, I understand. I'm not gonna deny it, I've been acting so full of myself after seeing all the girls talking about me." He explained.

"So, we're cool?" I asked, holding my hand out for him to shake it.

"We're cool." He chuckled and we shaked hands.

Luke and I decided to walk to the next class since we have the same one. We sat next to each other and once the class started, I stopped talking to Luke and payed attention to the teacher. Well, Luke had other plans. He started sending me notes which I tried to ignore. But he didn't give up! So I decided to reply to his silly notes for the rest of the class.

When the bell rang, I looked at Luke and said "You're annoying" But i couldn't help but smile.

"Oh, I saved you from something ridiculous. I'm your hero! You should be happy" He raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah, right" I shook my head and muttered "Full of yourself.. Like always."

"I HEARD THAT!" He pretended to look offended.

"Oh, that's the point" I smirked.
