~Alice's P.O.V~
I was sitting in the living room with Chris and dad. Mom was taking a nap in her room.
"This movie is crap! Dad, try to find something more fun." Chris said annoyingly.
Dad began to find something else to watch, and how I wish he didn't...
"Gosh! Wait! Keep it here, this game is legend." He stopped dad.
"No! We're not watching this. Chris, can't you survive a day without talking about soccer?!" I glared.
He ignored me and started cheering. I rolled my eyes and went up to my room. It's been a while since I last called Steph. I dialed her number.
"Hey! How are you?" She answered immediately.
"I'm great! I missed you."
"I saw you at the trip." She giggled.
"And there's so much I want to tell you." I said happily,
"Go for it!"
"Luke and I... We're together!"
"Wow, are you kidding?"
"No, we're seriously together, he asked me to be his girlfriend on Christmas Eve." I smiled at the memory.
"I'm happy for you. Finally! Congratulations."
"Thank you, Steph."
"Where do you think he will take you on the New Year Eve?" She asked.
"I don't know, I don't want him to cancel family events for me." I sighed.
"You do wanna hang out with though, don't you?" I could feel her smirk appearing.
"I won't deny it, I do spend my time with him." I admitted.
"Oh, you're falling so hard for him. My bestfriend is in love!" She said with this dreamy-like voice.
"Shut up." But that didn't make her stop, of course.
"Just imagine you and him for the New Year, and then... Mwah mwah." She made kissing voices.
"Jesus, stop!" I was blushing, and she laughed.
"I gotta go now, my mom wants me to go with her to visit her friend. Bye!" She said.
"Bye, Steph." I ended the call and exhaled.
My dad called me to go down and join them, and despite my will, I went down because there was nothing to do alone in my room.

It was six thirty, and I was writing down some notes, when my phone interrupted me.
"Hey, can you come over? It's urgent." It was a message from Steph.
I frowned but didn't bother to reply, I got Chris' car's keys, I didn't want to waste some time texting when I could be driving. Chris doesn't mind me using his car but if we were going out together, then he's the one who gets to drive.
I arrived to Steph's house, quickly made my way to the door and rang the doorbell. She opened it and hugged me.
"What's wrong? Did something happen at your mom's friend's house?" I asked worriedly.
"Oh, nothing happened there. It's something else..." She breathed.
"What is it?" My voice became low, yet full with curiosity.
"Let's go to my room, so we can chat quietly?" She suggested.
"I don't wanna go upstairs, I don't wanna go anywhere! You're freaking me out, just spit it out!" I raised my voice, irritated. No matter what she wants to say, I don't think it's too much important that we have to be locked up in her room alone.
