05- Horrible Monday

~Alice's P.O.V~

I woke up Monday, tired. I didn't sleep enough. I was studying the whole time yesterday, and I finished at 1:45 AM, which means I only slept like 3 hours. I don't know how I'm gonna focus today in class.. I got up from bed and went to the bathroom, I took a quick shower, thinking that maybe it will help me with my death case that I'm feeling this morning.. I brushed my teeth, wore my clothes, did my hair and got my bag ready. I went downstairs, and found that dad was already out, mom about to go and Chris is waiting for me.. Well, no breakfast for me then. We got in the car.

"Al, are you okay? You look so.. dead?" He asked.

"Why thank you Chris.." I rolled my eyes and started closing them slowly to get some sleep, when suddenly..

"Alice, wake up! We're here!" Chris screamed.

I jumped and opened my eyes quickly and saw Chris' face right in front of mine. I pushed him away and continued to sleep.

"Alright then, you left me no other choice then.." He muttered.

I felt him coming closer until he his hands touched my neck and my tummy and started tickling me. I started laughing hard and begged him to stop.

"Oh god! Please stop!! I'm up!! Look!"

"You won't sleep when I stop, right?" He smirked.

"No, I won't, just STOP!"

He stopped and helped me out of the car. I couldn't even walk straight. I thought that it would be perfect if I just get my books and go to my first class. Unfortunately, Luke and Steph were waiting there for me. I forced a smile and hugged them.

"Hey, are you okay?" They gave me a confused look.

"No, it's your fault" I pointed at Luke. "You told me I should have fun and have a day off, but when Sunday came I kept studying until 2 AM. I'm never going out again on a Saturday.." I closed my locker and rested my head on it. Steph started shaking me and yelling 'Wake Up!'. I held both of her hands and told her to stop. She giggled and went to her class. I almost forgot that Luke and I have the same class, Biology. My stomach started to make weird noises, and Luke heard them. I blushed embarrassed and looked down.

"Well, I-I.. This morning.. Chr-.." I was trying to explain, but I was too embarrassed.

"You didn't have breakfast, right?" He said simply.

I nodded, he got a sandwich out of his bag and handed it to me.

"Take it, I have already ate at home." He said.

"Thank you" I smiled at him.

I ate it quickly and finished it before opening the class' door. We sat next to each other and the class started.

I felt someone shaking me slowly.

"Al, wake up, the teacher is gonna see you and give you detention, you don't want that, right?" He whispered.

I quickly sat up and opened my eyes as wide as I can. Miss Gray was writing something on the board, so she didn't see me - Thank God -. I didn't realise I slept in the class the whole period until I heard the bell. I was surprized. Luke was trying to not laugh.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Oh my god.. Your reaction is hilarious! But don't worry, I wrote everything on my notebook for you, I don't need them, because I didn't sleep during class" He teased.

I glared at him and took his notebook.

I jumped from my seat once I heard the bell ring, it was time for lunch! Steph and Luke always get to the Cafeteria first, and we sit in our usual place, and they were there indeed. I brought my food and sat next to Steph smiling at them.
