~Alice's P.O.V~
The next day had a good begining. Sunny, blue sky, warm and it didn't take me much to wake Chris up. This doesn't happen everyday. So we got ready and he drove us to school. Chris didn't know about what happened yesterday. I didn't tell him, and I didn't want him to know anyway. God only knows what he would do about it before I tell him that we're okay now.
I remember when I was like seven years old, I told Chris about a guy who was annoying me in class, Leo, so he just stopped me mid-sentence, and walked away pretty upset. Leo was drinking his apple juice and laughing with his friends. Chris was shouting some words that no one could understand, pushed him against the wall by the collar of his shirt, and threatened him that he would go to his house and break all of his Star Wars collection. To Leo, at that age, this small sentence had a huge meaning. He used to be the number one fan of Star Wars. He actually cried and ran away!
"You're gonna stay in there or what?" Chris snapped me out of my memory. We had arrived to school and I didn't even notice it. I got out of the car and adjusted my clothes and entered the school together. As expected, Steph was already standing next to my locker, on her phone.
"Too early for texting, don't you think?" I said, as I opened my locker to get my books. She looked up at me, and turned her phone off.
"Oh! good morning. I was just texting my cousin, she lives in China, you know, different time zones." She explained.
"Good morning ladies." I smiled as soon as I heard his cheery voice.
"Morning Luke," I close my locker and walked with my friends.
"You know," Luke said, "I was wondering, how did Britch know about our date and its deets. I mean she knew everything I did, and claimed that she was my date."
Even if it really was true, I shrugged it off, I mean, the rumors in my school spread in a blink!
"So, now you go and have fun in your class, and I'll see you at lunch, okay?" He crooked a smile.
"Shut up, I have Physics now, I don't think it's fun to analyse anything, in the morning, that's basically mental abuse, you know." I rolled my eyes, which made him laugh with that deep, yet sweet voice.
"I'll see you soon." He smiled, then leaned in, and kissed my cheek. I felt the blood rushing all the way to my cheek, where his lips have just been. It lasted for just a few seconds, and when he pulled away, he looked at me straight in the eyes, and the corners of his tugged up into a small, adorable smile. "Bye, Al." And he left, leaving me standing there, beside my class' watching him walking away.
"Well," Steph cleared her throat, "I'll just go in.." She walked past me, then stopped and turned around to face me for a second, with an amusement look on her face, "It's close, Al, way too close.." She entered the class and took a seat in the back. I frowned, then shrugged and followed her in.

It was finally time for lunch, I got my books and slipped my bag over my shoulder. When I was in the hallway, on my way to the cafeteria, I noticed how the girls where looking at me, whispering, and then back at something else, then back at me. They kept doing it, that I finally became impatient and turned around to find that it wasn't a thing, it was someone. And that someone was Britney, who was walking with her three minions beside her.
I noticed how blank her face was. Her hands were two tight, small fists, with knuckles about to burst out! So she was mad, huh? She thinks I won't notice it if she used the blank-face-trick. Wrong! I mentally smirked, and kept walking 'til I arrived to our table. Luke and Steph were already there, laughing about something.
"... And then I told her t- Hey, Alice!" He grinned at me, and stood up quickly, to make me some space so I can sit adjacent to him.
"Hello," I sat down, "Whatcha talking about?" I shoved a spoonful of salad in my mouth.
"Oh, just an English lesson." I nodded.
"So, have you seen Britney today? She looks so furious!" I laughed.
"Well, that's a normal reaction, when your whole school realises that she lied about that date, and now everyone here will think she's desperate to go out with this fine guy over here." She wiggled her eyebrows, which made her earn a roll from Luke's eyes.
"Well, it doesn't matter now anyway. Besides, Alice should worry about who I like, not who likes me." He smiled in my way. I looked at him for a bit. Steph cleared her throat, I looked away then saw Steph raising her eyebrows.
"What?" I asked.
"Don't act like you don't know, I hate it when you act like love birds in front of me, it makes me feel like I'm a third weel and forever alone." She pouted.
"Well, you kinda are..." Luke mumbled.
She shot him a glare, and I couldn't help but laugh at how shocked Luke seemed. He probably thought she didn't hear him.
"Well, the bell is about to go off soon, I'll go now. I'll see you, too!" I was about to walk away, when I felt someone pulling me back from my wrist. I bumped into a hard chest, looked up to meet Luke's eyes.
"You forgot something." He whispered.
He leaned in slowly and kissed my forehead, "You're free to leave now, cutie." He crooked a smile and let go of my wrist.

When the last bell was heard, I rushed out to the parking lot. It was like a humdrum now. Once I finish, I go to meet Luke next to his incredible red car. Or I would see him waiting for me. Chris is used to this now, too, so he doesn't wait for me anymore.
Today, Luke wasn't there yet. So I stood next to the car's door crossing my arms, and watching the students leaving, trying to spot that light brown hair that belonged to my date. Gosh! This word makes my heart beat ten times faster! I'm still not used to it!
I saw Luke, and two other guys walking next to him, coming in my way, talking about soccer or something.
"Alice," said Luke.
"Luke," I looked at him with a smile, "and your friends..."
"Oh! right, Alice, this is Cayden and Alex. Cayden and Alex, this is the gorgeous Alice." He showed me his cocky smile. The two guys looked at each other with an amused look on their faces, Luke decided to ignore them and their fake coughs and whistles.
"Well, I'll see you two tomorrow, I have to drive this lady right here," he pointed at me, "home. Before her parents decide that I kidnapped her or something. So Adios!"
"See ya." They waved at him and walked away resuming their conversation about sports.
I heard the car's alarm that meant that Luke unlocked the car, and I got in next to his seat.
"Got everything?" He asked while turning the engine on. I nodded and he drove off.
