Molly POV

Instead of buying a smaller house, we decided to buy something we would be able to settle into forever and build our family here. We chose a house out on the outskirts of Hogsmeade. It was a nice house in the woods, and it was covered in wood. We both loved it, and we're so excited that we were able to buy it. Lyra had been there with James twice since we bought it, and she told us that she had a surprise in the backyard for us. Scorpius and I were moving in this weekend and were finally able to see what she had done.

The kitchen was white and had a stone backsplash that I really loved. I loved cooking, and I had always loved being in the kitchen with Grandma. I couldn't wait to have the family over this Christmas and have everyone in the kitchen.

The family room was how Scorpius wanted it. He said that he always wanted a lot of furniture in it, and bright. He loves the manor, but he always told me he wanted something less proper and homier. I loved the lights and how they were square. I also loved the tall ceilings and how everything was light in the room. Scorpius had said something about getting a cat when we moved in, but I had never responded because even with magic, cleaning hair off, all of this white furniture would be such a pain.

We were happy to have our bedroom in the tallest part of the house. The bed fit perfectly on the main wall. We were not going to do green, but when looking for bedding, it seemed wrong after having green on our beds for 7 years. We finally decided that it was just right to have green. We also found great natural plants to have on the beams and by our bed. I loved it. On the other side of the room, there was a bench and a bookshelf. I had a small desk that I could do some work on, but I knew that I would be doing most of my work at school. Something small and cozy was perfect.
