Where is He

Sonic woke up to the birds chirping their morning tune. He rubbed his eyes and yawned. He got up and went to the closet to grab a pair of clothes. He quickly did and got in the shower. The warm water hitting his shoulders felt so nice. It felt like a sun tan but all over. He quickly finished up and dried off. He put his new clothes on and walked out of the bathroom. It finally struck him. "Tails!?" Sonic yelled. "You home?!" Sonic looked through the rooms swiftly. Not a trace of the fox was found. Sonic remembered what all happened yesterday and opened his transmitter. He dialed some things into and suddenly three faces popped up. "What?" Sticks said annoyed. Sonic looked at the three team mates and began his sentence. "Meet me at Egghead's lair. Tails didn't come home and, like knuckles said yesterday, Egghead has cameras everywhere so let's see if we can find him." The rest of the team nodded but Amy. She rolled her eyes. "I have a seminar in an hour Sonic that I have to be ready for, sorry." She said not really meaningfully. Sonic turned off his transmitter and swore under his breath. "Damn hedgehog, it's her fault he is gone." Sonic looked up at the morning sky. It was very nice and a distant breeze could be felt. The sun shone like the star it was blinding him momentarily. He looked back towards the long path in front of him and began running. He passed by houses and stores. All a blur in his own little fast world. No one could bother him here he was safe to think. Sonic saw Eggman's lair in the distance. He sped up as to try to get there. When he reached the door he waited what felt like eons for the other two. Knuckles cane running with Sticks on his heals.  They both met Sonic and they all stared at the door. Sonic knocked. "Go away I don't want any of your salesman crap." Someone said on the other side. "It's me Egghead!" Sonic said yelling. The door opened. "what do you want hedgehog, you know you have some nerve coming all the way here." Eggman said in his pink pajamas. "Tails is gone we need to see your cameras as to see where he went," Sonic said with little expression. "And why should I help you?" Eggman said with his finger pointed at them. "I'll do your laundry for a week," Sonic said sighing in displeasure of the task. "Deal," Eggman said smiling. "C'mon in," he said showing them in. He shut the door behind him as they all walked down towards where all the evil plotted vengence unfolds.....the control room. Sonic looked around at all different buttons and switches in the huge control panel. Eggman came over and sat in his chair. "Don't touch anything you blue freak." He said irritated. Eggman pressed a few switches and pulled up a bunch of cameras. "Now let's see if any of the cameras caught an abnormallity." He pressed some more buttons bringing up one recording of the night before. "Here we go," he said opening it up. There was rain and lightning nothing out of the ordinary then something fell out of the clouds and made a huge explosion on the ground. "Wait," Sonic said squinting. "Rewind it." He said impatiently. Eggman did it annoyed that he was being pushed around by this hedgehog. Sonic looked at the footage. "Pause." Sonic squinted and looked at the plane closely. He could barely make out the two Tails in the seat. "That's Tails alright," Eggman said sitting back. Sonic thought of what just happened moments after that......the explosion. Sonic quickly asked were that was. "Around the hills by the beach it looks like." "What beach?" Sonic asked worried by the answer. "Looks like Island bluff to me," Eggman said squinting and then nodding. "I hear the weather is down right aweful this time of year." Sonic looked over to Sticks and Knuckles. "You begin doing his laundry, I'll be back as soon as Tails is alright." Sonic sped out of the lair quickly. Eggman chuckled. "I have laundry I haven't done in weeks!" He said with a grin. Knuckles and Sticks moaned and followed Eggman to the laundry room.
Sonic kept running taking rights and lefts. It would take him a few minutes to get to Island Bluff. The worst went through his mind. "I didn't see Tails bail out....." Sonic stated running faster as to shorten the distance to the beach. He looked up at the sky. "C'mon bud....please be okay." Sonic felt a little pain in his chest but ignored it. He ran on hoping that Tails would be fine.
